{Emma's POV}
Emma froze at the words "you're pregnant". She had only ever heard those words once. Henry. How could she be pregnant? Killian had only slept over three times ever. She knew it was possible, but it was still a big shock to her. After quite some time in silence, she was the first to look at Killian. He looked like he was about to be sick. White as a ghost, he glanced up at her. His hands were shaking against hers. Or were those her hands? She couldn't tell. Both in an utter state of shock, Killian was the fist to speak.

"You're pregnant," He stated bluntly. There was another long pause. She tried to reply, but she couldn't bring herself to open her mouth to do so. "Emma.. I-" He looked at her lower abdomen. "I don't know what to say." He pulled away from her hand and gently placed his hand on her stomach. He then started to smile. "I'm going to be a father?" He whispered turning back towards her. Emma couldn't say anything. She opened her mouth, but nothing came out. His smile disappeared. "Swan, is everything okay?" He asked kneeling down beside her.

She manages to produce sound. "Yes... I mean no... I mean... I don't know..." She paused as he scooted his chair closer scrunching his eyebrows. He didn't understand. "What if I mess it up?" She blurted.

"Swan, listen to me you aren't goin-"

"How do you know? What if it's just like I did with Henry?" She looked down at her stomach. Two of his fingers brushed under her chin, bringing her face to his. She couldn't handle this... failing her child yet again. She then knew how her parents had felt, and immediately felt bad for pushing them away. It haunted her.

"Hey, I know you're scared, Swan. I am too. You think I know the first damn thing about parenting? I mean look at me." He gestured at himself and smiled at her. "Every parent was at our stage we are now at one point. Every parent has worries," he stated. "For example, what if I hook the baby?" He held up his hook as a joke. She laughed at that one. Even in the hardest times, he had always found a way to make her smile. "Listen, Swan, Henry turned out just fine, as did you," he pulled his fingers away kissing her on the forehead.

"But some don't turn out just fine," she stated thinking of all of the runaways and abandoned children she had met while in the foster system. Thinking of Lily.

"Yes, I'm sure some of them don't turn out fine," he agreed shaking his head. "But, I will never let that happen to our baby," he smiled. "Not as long as I'm alive. And I don't see myself dying anytime soon. I have been alive for three hundred years, just in case you didn't know," he shrugged his shoulders making Emma laugh. A tiny bit of pain shot through Emma's body as she laughed. "Survivor." He shrugged, pointing at himself. Dr. Whale walked back into the room.

"Did you guys talk it out?" He asked walking over to the laughing couple.

"Yes," replied Killian.

"Good, then you're free to sign some papers and some checks, then you can be on your way. Emma, make sure you rest. The pain you endured was the baby reacting to your body. When you're stressed, or under a high amount of cardio, you're baby can go into shock and you could have a premature labor. I need you to be careful and rest as much as you can." Whale lectured as he handed the papers to Hook to sign. He did a double take as he looked at the amount owed to the hospital.

"It's kind of hard to find rest when you're the sheriff, the savior, a mother and have a wedding in three days," Emma replied. Whale shrugged and opened his mouth to reply.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure that she rests," Hook replied before Whale could respond. Emma gave him a look, telling him to stop being over protective. After they paid and walked out of the hospital, they walked out to the car. Emma's phone rang. She took it out of her back pocket and looked to see who was calling her. It was Regina.
