Kanon wasn't always your typical normal little nine year old girl.
It's not everyday you get adopted by a demon whose supposed to be one of the former Avatar of the seven sins.
But it didn't matter to her. That day she met Mammon, she felt like one of the luckiest little girls in the world.
It was thanks to him...her whole life had changed forever.
*Flashback*
One year ago before MC had attended R.A.D for Diavolo's student exchange program.
Kanon was a little eight year old girl who spend most of her time at the playground.
Usually, she would be seen there alone...or at least play with a couple of kids in the neighborhood.
But today, she was alone...
Her mother told her to stay here...
Like every little girl, she obeyed her mother because she believed she knew best.
She thought her mother would come for her later....
But it's been hours and Kanon was getting worried...The sky was grey and looked like it was about to rain. The little girl started to get anxious...
Why isn't her mother coming back???
Kanon: Mommy...Where are you?
???: Hah? There's a child here...?
Kanon looked up to see a man with white hair and brown skin. His eyes had mix of blue and yellow. He wore a brown jacket, black shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
Kanon: Who are you, Old Man?
Mammon: OI! I'M NOT OLD KID! I AM THE GREAT MAMMON-SAMA!
Mammon? That name sounds familiar to her. Where have she heard it before?the
Kanon: But you look old. You have white hair.
Mammon: Just because I have white hair doesn't mean I'm old kid...Okay. Maybe I am a few thousands years old! But I'm still the greatest!
Kanon: See! You admitted you're old!
Mammon: Shaddup Kid!
Kanon laughed at him. Despite being young. She knows she's not supposed to talk to strangers. Especially those who have terrible intentions with children. But she felt like she can trust this man.
Mammon: ....So what's your name, kid?
Kanon: I'm Kanon!
Mammon: What are ya doing here all by yourself. It's getting dark soon.
Kanon: My Mommy told me to wait here for her while she runs an errand...but it's been a long time since I've seen her.
Mammon:...How long....
Kanon:......About three or four hours ago...
Mammon:.....And why didn't you go with her?
Kanon: She told me not to follow her.
She could've swore Mammon's face visibly darken for a moment or two before it seemed to went away. Was she seeing things???
Mammon: I see...Alright. How about this Kanon? I'll play with ya until your mother comes back...once she does, I'll have a long talk with her. But if she doesn't come back, I'll take ya somewhere safe. How that sound?
