America POV
I wake up to a loud banging on my apartment door. A letter fell out of the mail slot. When I grabbed the letter, it was from BBC News. The letter said, "I had to move to a small town called "Revan Brooks." I had to replace a journalist name Germany that had disappeared in Raven Brooks one month ago.
Man, this sucks. But this is the only job I can get so I have to go there. I hate the outdoors! But I have been more of a city person. But I need cash. Cash has been very short. I have no choice. 'I sighed' I enjoyed living in the city. But then again, I need this job. So, I grab my suitcase and put on my clothes, sunglasses, and stuff.
I am being moved from my apartment provided by the News company to move to the News station in Raven Brooks. I grab my stuff and put my stuff in my car. My apartment will most likely go to be taken by another Journalist. I get into my car and look up my location on google maps. Sheesh, it is a 1-hour drive. I was about to slam my head into my car wheel. So I get my car started and start driving.
Time Skip~
Finally, I have reached the new town of Raven Brooks. I park into the driveway of the News station of Raven Brooks where I will be living. I go into the station and it is a mess the only thing good about this place is that I can see the city I use to live in in the distance.
What should I do now I can explore the city and meet some of its citizens but only 200 people live here and they are all countries. I honestly hate other countries like humans more. So I get dressed up.
I go to the closest and open it and the was an evidence board with all photos leading to a red dude. I stood there shocked. So this is what Germany was doing. It does seem like a good story all connected to 3 missing people Mexico, Ukraine, and my brother Canada. I haven't seen Canada in years ever since I moved to the city. I love my brother and he's missing. In the past when our dad was drunk he defended me and also supported me in moving to the city. I feel like I have to repay him and Germany has been right on the trail of the missing cases. I also notice a notebook sitting on the side of the closet.
I open the notebook and well Germany I got to give him the credit he has good handwriting better them mine. I'll read it later but I think I should explore and get to know my location before I become a detective. So I unpack my stuff and get ready to go out. I put on my Nasa shirt and jeans. Also, grab my glasses and camera. I grab my press badge and walk out. The town was small everything was just a walk away beside the school and market. I explore a bit and the countries here do not like journalists maybe because of Germany but they give me a bad look when they see my badge. I decide to go into a small cafe to ask about this little town since I am new. I go in a see a lady with cat ears that's kind of strange but I greet her.
Third person POV
America greets the cat lady she turns with a smile and introduces herself. "Konnichiwa, I am Japan you must be the new journalist." America says " Hello, I am America but call me Ame for short, and yes I am the new journalist." " Can I ask a question"
Japan nodes " Why do people keep giving me a bad look when they see I am the new journalist?" Japan responds "Well Germany was noisy it got on many nerves about people who went missing about 1 year ago." "They have been gone for a year" Japan nods. Japan then says "What a shame to the people who went missing were really good friends of mine." America nods. "well do you know what happened to Germany and why he's gone?" The American asks.
Japan says "No one knows he just was gone I miss him it seems like all my friends are disappearing". Japan says then sighs. "Well I am sorry for your loses if I cheer you up I will be your friend." Japan then thanked the American.
Then the American orders a strawberry milkshake to go. When he gets his milkshake he takes a sip and he froze. Japan just looks and kind of gets worried about her new friend. America snaps back into reality. America says "This is good" before making new sips. "Thanks not many come here because of the popular diner on the other side of town many skip this cafe". America says "Well I need to get this on the paper on how good the drinks are here." Japan says he does not have to but America thinks otherwise and asks for Japan's picture. Before leaving he says that he will put this on the paper and call the title "Underrated chef master". Before leaving.
Once the American said his goodbye he see a guy come out of his giant house how did he not notice this but his house was giant? But the guy was very tall and had a bag with a piece of hair sticking out of the top. it was this black and yellowish hair sticking out of the top like Germany's hair from that photo. Strange very strange but I shrug it off and go on with my day.
