Please don't leave me

Holland POV
I held onto his hand as tight as I could. I tried to hold back the flood of tears pounding at my eyes. I had to be strong not for me but for him. "Dad I love you so much" he tried to turn his head but it toppled back down on his pillow. He couldn't talk anymore but his grip on my hand tightened.

I looked into his beautiful light brown eyes and he smiled at me. The heart monitor made the sound I dreaded to hear. I let go of his hand and took a step back. My father was dead I thought to my self over and over. He's gone...he's really gone.

It's the most horrible feeling in the world. Watching the one person who actually cared about you die. Having to see his body fade away day by day really messed with my head. You tell yourself they'll be okay it's nothing serious but you know deep down that they're gonna die.

I ran outside the hospital room and tried to run outside but collapsed on the ground. My heart hurt so bad and I couldn't help but let every emotion I was holding in escape. I had no control over my body screams and tears were forcefully coming out. I tried to stop but I couldn't...it was to hard.
