This town is cursed.Literally no other way to put it-EVERYONE here is so ignorant and do not have decency to be human beings!
This shit is ridiculous.
In the grand scheme of things-this may not feel like such a big deal but right now it is the icing on the cake for my bad day.
First thing that happened today; I got out of bed, got dressed and my first step out of my penthouse just so happened to land in dog shit--simple right? WRONG!
Second thing that happened was rush hour traffic. That was a usual occurrence-until my tire got popped by a shard of glass from a broken bottle when I stopped for a drink at a market close by the highway. I didn't believe it could get any worse for me after that-genuinely I didn't!
The third time, this was damn near my breaking point, I got my car towed and took a lyft ride to my job. When I arrived at my workplace-the fucking driver sped off-with my phone in the back seat, but I only found that out 2 hours later due to me being hassled by my boss about late arrival and all that nonsense.
Now this-3 awful things that could happen any other day were just shredded to nothing-as my boyfriend of 2 years and 9 months is in the supply closet getting his face sucked by the office bimbos-yeah, plural!
Now that you're all caught up-
I walked back towards my desk calmly, even though my blood was broiling with anger and disgust I am not going to start a scene for a pathetic excuse of a 24 year old.
Opening the tablet I kept in my purse for my 'at home' zoom calls-which are about every other week.I logged in and immediately deleted him from contacts and blocked him-there is no excuse he could say to win me back. As I put my tablet down, powering up my computer, my work friend Abigail looked at me with shock and worry, perhaps she saw him in the supply closet as well.
"Lorey can we talk about something? It has to do-" I cut her off whilst typing vigorously; "-has to do with that idiot Terrance? About him and the office sluts in the supply closet?" I looked up at her through my clear rimmed glasses gave her a tight lipped smile then looked back at my computer screen. "Lorey, I am so sorry! I didn't-WAIT YOU SAW THEM!?" She held a look of disgust and for some reason started giving me sad puppy eyes and came around my desk to hug me-in an attempt at comforting me...I think.
"Abby its fine, I am too good for him anyways-besides already blocked and deleted before I had my coffee." I tried my best to give her a genuine smile this time and a quick squeeze of her arms while they were encompassing me, "So that means after today we can go out for a drink-i'm thinking some place we haven't been to-" I quickly pull up a few places on my computer scanning through the names, trying to find one I didn't recognize. I pointed to one at the far bottom of the screen ushering Abby to look at my suggestion, "Oh is that a new place? I've never seen it advertised on TV or anywhere really. We should check that out and then we can go back to your place for a sleep over with snacks." She winked and immediately pulled it up on her phone, I assumed she was getting passes to get in before the lines pile up-it is Friday after all.
"Ms. Harris and Ms. Spence I take it you both are bonding over work-or should we have a word in my office?" Mrs. Glaive glared at us and continued on her way to addressing the other employees. I rolled my eyes and exited the site continuing my work, as did Abigail.
