Coffee, I smell coffee. Do I dare open my eyes? Wait, what time was it? When the thought finally crossed my mind, my body shot up from the couch with panic when realization hit me. My eyes quickly looked around and noticed I was the only one still in the living room. My eyes soon met with stares from everyone who stood around the kitchen, smirking when they heard the commotion that I was making. Wait, what? I am so confused.

"Good morning sleeping beauty. Love the look you got going, it works for you. Limo is here and we are all set, Dime figured to let you sleep in a bit." Vinnie laughed, taking in my appearance. Hair was everywhere I am sure of it, and I probably looked worse than I actually felt. I shot my middle finger at him. Thinking of what Vinnie said, Darrell got up and made sure everything was taken care of? Feeling my heart warm up at the thought of his kindness, especially since he was probably feeling his hand more today than he was last night. Looking around for a clock, "what time is it?" I asked. Rex looked to the clock on the wall in my kitchen, "we need to leave here in 5 minutes." He explained. I can easily get ready by that time. Darrell walked into the kitchen after coming from outside. Not noticing me right away.

Jumping up from the couch, I quickly jogged up to him, catching him off guard before slapping a kiss to his surprised lips. Knotting his brows, "are you feeling ok there Sable?" questioning my random act. Giving him a small smile in hopes to reassure him that I was not losing my mind, "thank you for taking care of everything and allowing me to sleep in a little longer." Darrell instantly relaxed and gave me one of his famous smirks, "yeah of course baby. We do need to get going though if we are going to make it on time." Darrell glanced back at our friends in the kitchen before moving to grab last of our stuff.

We all climbed into the waiting limo with excitement burning through all of us at the thought of leaving Texas for a short while, with no obligations or shows, just us enjoying the time to do whatever we wanted to do. The excitement soon got the better of us as we began to dip into the complimentary alcohol that the limo service provided. Darrell passed shots out till everyone had one, raising his own up in the air is when everyone went silent, giving him their attention. "I just wanted to say that out of everyone out there on this big, beautiful marble, I am fucking thankful that I have you bastards to share it with. Let's enjoy this vacation, shall we?" he spoke, a twinkle in his eye when he tipped the shot back. I was about to join in when his attention turned to me, still holding that boyish smile he was known for. Leaning in till I felt his breath against my ear, "Van Halen" he whispered. A blush crept onto my cheeks. I was cheesing hard core by now, "Van Halen!" giggling and shooting my shot back.

The ride to the airport didn't take us long, everyone feeling good and buzzed when the limo pulled up to the curb. We all busted out laughing our asses off when Darrell faked in falling out of the limo the moment the door opened for him. The driver panicked at first, bending down to help Darrell up, but jumped back when he saw Darrell popped up. "Just jerking you off man!" the guitarist laughed.

Lenny came around and saw everything, "typical Dimebag Darrell, ladies and gents!" clapping where he stood. Bobby and Kat were next to him, waiting for us to join them. Taking the opportunity, Darrell bowed once his name was announced, never apologizing for who he was. Smiling when he approached me, throwing his arm over my shoulder and leading us inside the front doors, "come on gorgeous, let's go."

It didn't take us long to get all our bags checked and make our way towards our gate, we were on time till it was discovered that our flight was now delayed by an hour. Naturally we were bummed, but there was nothing we could do besides wait. Luckily stores were open which gave us something to pass the time. There was a store that sat adjacent from where our gate was, I could easily hear the music that was playing inside. It was Bad Medicine by Bon Jovi, the upbeat was causing my foot to bounce till I could no longer hold it back. In seconds I jumped up from my chair, strutting down the aisles of chairs. Rita was bobbing her head to the beat when she whistled, she too was into the song. Think it's obvious in why we got along so well. Rex and Vinnie both looked over and noticed me, didn't take them long to start clapping and egging me on. Phil clapped along to the beat as he broke out into a fit of laughter. I probably looked ridiculous right now, but I didn't give a shit.
