Carmen: It was weird Rudy. I've never felt peace a single day of my life, and that dream freaked me out.
Rudy: You mean to tell me you had a baby with Valeria?
Carmen: Yes. Why do you think I had that dream?
Rudy: Do you think it's your mind protecting you from the possibility of Synopsis being reopened?
Carmen: It could be a possibility. Do you and Alejandro even know how bad life was in that lab?
Rudy: of course, we don't, but we have a basic understanding. When we found you on the street in a hospital gown we were honestly scared. you were covered in blood and your pupils were Blown wide.
Carmen: Blood?
Rudy: Yeah your hands and gown were drenched in it
Carmen: I thought they just dumped me in the streets because the program got shut down?
Rudy: You don't remember?
Carmen: No
Valeria: I'm back from training Mi Amor!
Carmen: we're in the kitchen!
Alejandro: It is hot outside Hermana. Summer is coming! Why does everyone look so serious?
Rudy: Carmen doesn't remember anything before we found her and the fact she was drenched in blood.
Alejandro: Wait I thought you always knew and that you just didn't tell us because It was really dark.
Rudy: Would your brothers know?
Carmen: If I don't know then they probably won't know.
Valeria: So you don't remember anything about how you got out of the program?
Carmen: Not really.
Alejandro: How did this conversation even start up?
Rudy: A dr-
Carmen: A drink! we were drinking and it just came up.
Valeria: Well we have to get you to remember somehow.
Carmen: Maybe eventually, but for right now we have to focus on Graves and Shepherd.
Alejandro: Carmen's right she'll figure out her past all in due time. We need to get some rest. Laswell said were taking back the HQ at 0300.
Valeria: Its 5:00 now. You wanna go to sleep Amor?
Carmen: Sure let's go.
Rudy: Get some rest Hermana.
Carmen: You too Hermano.
Valeria and I went to our shared bunk room and I laid down while she took off her clothes to put on new ones.
I spaced out while watching her because o was slowly starting to question why I had blood on me that day. Tons of questions swarmed my head like; what did I do? Was I hurt? Did I hurt someone else? Am I the reason they shut down the program?
Valeria: Carmen! Are you even listening to me?
Carmen: sorry Val. What were you talking about cariña?
Valeria: I was saying that soon I will be done with my training and officially be a vaquero.
Carmen: that's good love! I'm so proud of you.
Valeria: Are you ok cariña?
Carmen: yeah why?
Valeria: you're acting weird and it looks like you've been crying.
Carmen: I um just had a bad dream.
Valeria: do you want to talk about it?
Carmen: I'm scared that if I talk about it, I'll break down.
Valeria: it's ok to cry Hermosa. I'm right here. Come let's talk about it Mi Amor.
Carmen: alright...
Val came and sat on the bed with me in her new clothes. She pulled me in her arms once she laid down and softly combed her fingers through my hair, occasionally scratching my scalp with her nails.
We talked about what seemed for hours and by the time we finished talking with me in her arms it was dark outside.
