Chapter 1: Hotel Arrival

ERICS POV

I woke up today fairly excited. Today was the day of me and the boys going on a road trip to the beach. We just got out of 8th grade, and we have changed a lot since 4th. I've worked on my weight, and my attitude, Kyle is dating Stan, and Kenny started to wear his parka less. To be honest, I'm not used to Kenny not wearing his parka. Plus, I still have feelings for Heidi Turner, but I doubt she even remembers me. We broke up in 4th, and I know its my fault. Anyway, I got ready and texted the boys.

Eric: yo, yall up?

Kyle: oh shit, is the road trip today?

Kenny: yeah dumbass, get ready. we wont wait forever.

Stan: hey guys, lets meet at the bus stop.

Eric: aight, cya guys there.

That had went surprisingly well. I ran down to the bus stop, trying to see if I could beat Stan there. Which I did, but he arrived a little while later. Kenny and Kyle arrived shortly after, around 9:42am. I called an Uber and we got in. We stopped at hotel after around 3 hours of getting driven around. While we were about to take the elevator, I noticed a group of girls walking in. It was the girls from school, Wendy, Bebe, Red, and of course, Heidi. I saw Heidi and went back to going to the elevator, not telling the boys.

We got up to our rooms and got ready to stay the night. I had an idea. We could go to the pool tonight! I asked the boys if they wanted to go to the pool, and they agreed. We got our swim trunks on and went down to the pool.

After a little while of swimming, the girls came down to swim, which was unexpected. Heidi probably asked the girls if they dared her to dive head first, which was a bad idea at the shallow side of the pool. They most likely said yeah, because next thing I know, she dives in, and there's red coming up from the bottom.
