3rd POV
Pyra headed to Elder Fugen to receive her 2 partner Pokémon. "Hey there, Squirt. Ready for your first Pokémon?" The village elder asked. She nodded her head rapidly in excitement. "Alright, then. Come on out, you two!" he said as he tossed 2 Poké Balls up and released the Pokémon in them. First was the Kamuran Meowth. This regional form of Meowth can't evolve, but is naturally able to speak human language and use complex tools and traps. The second was a Kamuran Growlithe. This regional form of Growlithe was slightly larger than the Kantonian form, and was a Normal type, while Kamuran Meowth was a Normal and Fighting type. As their new Trainer, Pyra introduced herself. "Hi" she said nervously, "I'm Pyra. I hope we become great friends." The two Pokémon looked at her in awe, then tackled her to the ground in joy, licking and cuddling her. She laughed loudly due to the two of them tickling her. She could tell they would become fast friends.
