In the Fatui's quarters, there stands a long table with 12 seats. One for each of the high ranked Fatui Harbingers and their leader. The atmosphere was tense and the air felt cold as they all laid their intimidating gaze straight at you.
"Scaramouche, who have you brought here in our quarters?" A man asked, his voice sounding very commanding and strict. He looked old and had a mask covering his right eye. You'd assume he was the leader based by how most of the Harbingers looked uneasy hearing him talk.
The Balladeer, more known as Scaramouche scoffed and glared at you. "My stupid sister who's practically useless. Can't even do simple tasks right... she'd be better off dead."
You whimpered at your brother's harsh words. Although you were used to having him for company, you can't stand how vulgar he talks about you.. or anyone else really.
"I'm-"
You were cut off short as the intimidating old man started to speak again. "And.. why have you brought this sister of yours? If she doesn't have any use for our missions I will have to ask for her to leave."
Scaramouche laughed. Not at anything in particular but he laughed anyway. "You're right, she won't be of any use for our missions.. but..," He placed a hand on your shoulder with a soft smile on his face and squeezed it. Hard. You let out a hiss as you stared up at him, trying to shove his hand off of your shoulder. "Wouldn't you all just love to have someone to take all your anger, frustrations and any strong feelings on? Instead of us going for eachother's guts all the time?" He asked, having a sinister smile on his face as he gripped on your shoulder even harder.
What the hell is he trying to say? I bet he's usually the one starting arguements around here.. You rolled your eyes. Can I go yet?
What he was trying to imply had all the Harbingers' curiosity rise. What is the Balladeer's true intentions? Some of them knew what he was getting to, and they looked at you.. with undoubtedly unpure ideas.
"If so, then-" He pushed you with power towards the table, looking as if he is serving you like you're some type of meal. "Do it on her. Use her as you like, I don't care. Just put this stupid bitch to good use." Scaramouche chuckled menacingly as you yelped in pain from the impact of you hitting the table.
Is he insane?! You panicked. You already knew the answer to that. Of course he is.
No... You turned your head to your brother with pleading eyes hoping that he would show you mercy. Hoping that he didn't actually mean what he said. However, it looked as if he really did mean those words and your heart sank at the realization. All the Harbingers looked at you hungrily, and you were definitely in danger now.
They're all crazy, insane, psychos.. I need to leave - Surely they.. wouldn't agree to my brother's disgusting idea, right?
But you've said it yourself. They are all, in fact, crazy, insane, psychos. "Hmm, very well, Scaramouche," Hummed Pierro, the leader. "We'll give her one week. If the Harbingers have taken a liking to her we will keep her.. if she is not dead, that is." You shuddered at those last few words. There's absolutely no way you'll survive. Surely they must be feeling very strong emotions and you gulped just thinking about it.
I need to get out of here, You told yourself. I'll be dead for sure. The door.. it was right behind you. If only you could...
"Ack-!"
"Stay put, or else," Scaramouche snarled as he slammed your head back down on the table. You let out a painful cry. "You can't escape. Try, and you're dead." This posed more as a warning than a threat, and you knew that it was over for you. Then, you remembered what Pierro had said. One week. If you made the Harbingers dislike you during that one week, maybe you'll be freed. You don't know how difficult it would be but you didn't want to be kept in here forever with deranged people.
