PROLOGUE

Kim stared at Pie who can't help but smile sweetly upon seeing Kim's loving expression.

"You've been staring at me for hours now, I might melt anytime soon."Pie rolled her eyes jokingly at Kim.

"I just can't believe that we're here, it's like being in a dream I wanna last forever."Kim whispered.

Pie smiled and reached out for Kim's hand.

"Thank you for giving our love another chance one year ago."Kim kissed Pie's hand.

"A special cake for a special celebration!"Aunt 'In announced and put the huge and colorful chocolate cake on their table.

"Thank you, Aunt 'In."Pie smiled gratefully at Kim's aunt.

"I am happy to see that the two of you are back together."she touched their clasped hands.

Pie caught Kim mouthing something at Aunt 'In who winked at Kim.

"Oh, I remember I need to talk to someone on the phone.I'll catch up with you later!"

"What was that, mister?"Pie asked Kim who just grinned broadly.

"Hmm, I know that smile,another surprise coming?"

Kim winked at Pie who rolled her eyes jokingly.

Aunt 'In went up the stage and adjusted the mic before speaking.She smiled at them.

"Welcome to the soft opening of my café, friends! I am happy to see old and familiar faces here, and thank you for supporting my new venture.I would also like to greet my favorite couple in the whole wide universe who's celebrating their love tonight, Kim and Pie."The guests cheered.

Pie smiled at Kim who kissed her forehead.

"And I would like to dedicate my first song for tonight to them.To Kim and Pie, this song is for you. Thank you for making me believe in the power of true love."

Aunt 'In nodded at the guitarist and started to sing a familiar tune.

"I remember that song, the first song you played for me."Pie reminisced while watching Aunt In.

Kim stretched her hand and smiled at Pie.

"May I have this dance?"

Pie accepted her hand and they walked over the dance floor.

They started swaying to the song while Kim stared at Pie like she's the only person in the café, oblivious to the admiring and jealous glances from the female crowd.

Kim touched Pie's forehead with hers and Pie can't help but close her eyes and smile.

"Thank you for making me happy, Kim."

"That's just a preview, Pie."Kim whispered.

Pie laughed."You are really full of surprises,Kim."

"Ready?"Kim asked.

Pie nodded.

"You'll love it."she promised.

"Where are we going?"Pie asked while they are running towards the back of Aunt In's café.

Kim just grinned and after a minute, they stopped in front of a small structure.

Pie raised her eyebrows.Kim just nodded and put a silk blindfold over Pie's eyes.

"Kim!"Pie laughed.

"What?"Kim laughed and put her hands on Pie's shoulders to guide her from behind.

"Make sure I'm gonna love it Kim or else.."Pie warned jokingly.

Kim kissed Pie's forehead.

"Ready?"

Pie smiled and nodded.

Kim stared at Pie lovingly before opening the door.She pressed the buttons on the wall and removed Pie's blindfold.

"Cut the theatrics-"

Pie let out a short gasp upon seeing thousands of colorful butterlies fluttering around.

A butterfly garden.

"Kim."she whispered."It's so beautiful."

"Yes, beautiful."Kim answered while staring at Pie.A butterfly landed on Kim's hands and she offered it to Pie.

"Thousands of butterflies whenever I am with you, Pie."she whispered.

Pie bit her lips to control herself from crying out of happiness.

"Oops, not so soon,Pie."Kim touched her chin.

"Kim,please tell me that its's gonna be the last bit, I'm gonna faint if you pull another surprise."

Kim just smiled.

"You used to ask me how can I assure you that our love will last forever and I know words are not enough to show you how much I love you."She presented a butterfly-shaped pendant to Pie.'I hope this will make you realize that I will do everything to assure you that I will love you every single day of my life."

Pie opened the pendant and found a small scroll of paper inside.She smiled before reading Kim's message and can't help but laugh and cry at the same time upon reading it.Kim kneeled before her.

"Will you spend the rest of your life with me, Pie?"

Pie cried and hugged Kim.

"Yes, Kim.I will."

Kim let out a jubilant yell and kissed Pie while thousands of colorful butterflies danced around them, celebrating the beginning of another chapter of their love story.

"I promise you, I will spend every single moment to assure you how much I love you."Kim whispered with tears in her eyes.

Pie nodded and kissed Kim.

"I know, Kim.And I promise to never doubt your love again."
