one

everything felt... foggy.

leafy couldnt remember the past few minutes of her life.

it couldve been hours, even.

she doesnt know.

she remembers most of the events leading up to now, but she doesnt know how 'here' came to be.

leafy sat up.

she was no longer on the boat that her and firey had left in.

she was in some kind of...

house?

it was a large house, like a mansion, but looked like a cabin.

she looked around. it seemed like she had this room to herself.

its full of pictures of nature, a rug on the ground, and even a desk in one of the corners.

but its confusing.

why is she here? is she alone? can she leave?

these thoughts race through leafy's head as she subconsciously stands up from her spot on the bed.

she lets out a small sigh.

she thinks for a moment.

why would i be brought here? is there anyone else with me?

she asks herself.

she opens the door that exits her room.

there was a long hallway, and she (very conveniently) happened to be placed at the end of the hallway.

leafy sighed again, louder this time.

she then shook herself awake.

"c'mon, leafy. this'll be fun."

but she begins to doubt herself as she stares at the hallway.

if i truely am alone, what will i do?

she thinks for a moment.

then she takes a few steps into the hallway.

it looks pretty similar to her room, pictures up on the walls, the rug on the floor...

however there were many doors in the hallway, about 13.

they had nameplates on them, too.

leafy looked back at her door, and saw her name on her nameplate.

she looked back at the hallway, and glanced at the door next to her.

that door's nameplate read 'bone'.

leafy didnt remember ever meeting a 'bone' before.

did this mean she wasnt alone?

that relieved her.

but she still didnt know who bone was. or even if they were somebody at all.

leafy just decided to move on.

she kept track of all of the names on the doors.

"tophat, paper, cup, oreo..."

leafy murmured to herself quietly. she wanted to memorize everyones names, she assumed that there would be more objects here.

however, one name stuck out to her.

"amelia."

that was weird. leafy didnt think there would ever be an object with a name like that. shes never heard of an amelia.

then again, she'd never heard of anybody else here, either.

aside from tennisball.

but everyones names resembled some type of object.
