Another soul

Chapter 1

Biiip ~biiip ~ click !

A beautiful woman in a violet nightdress turned off the ringing alarm on her phone beside her. She had long dark hair, full rosy lips, and blue-greyish eyes. As soon as she sat up on the bed a hand with short red nails wrapped around her waist. 

" Don't goo.. . let's sleep a little longer love ." 

Murmured a stunning woman whose name was Kate groping her wife by her waist. She had layered dark hair, long eyelashes, dark green eyes, and was a little taller than her lover. She was also wearing a nightdress. It was a matching one but in a different color - red. Her lover chuckled and bent to kiss her. As their lips touched Lara felt a warm feeling in her chest. It was love. 

" Okay, but just a few minutes."

A muffed "Mhm~" could be heard as an answer. Two women got back to hugging each other. They closed their eyes and fell asleep again. 

When they got enough sleep they went to the dining room together to prepare some tea and light breakfast. Mraaau! ~ Miaaau! ~ Their cats also wanted to eat breakfast with them. The married couple had three cats. Having them was always Lara's dream. Kate also liked cats but not as much as her wife. Right now both of the women were struggling to go through their pets to reach their bowls. The cats were blocking their path. Finally, after a great struggle, they were able to reach them and pour some food into them.

 After that, both of them sat at the dining table and started eating their porridge with apples, blueberries, and bananas. It was truly delicious! After eating they went to change and tidy they're selves up. They helped each other in picking their clothes. Lara chose a black long skirt and a red top with long sleeves. She looked really elegant. Kate wore blueish long pants and a few tones lighter shirt with a black jacket. After putting everything on and adding some simple makeup and jewelry they were finally ready to go. 

Before getting out they cuddled with their cats for a second. After leaving their cats, they went to their underground garage. Even though they seemed late they weren't concerned because no one would fire them since one of them was the daughter of the CEO and the other one her secretary.  They got in the car slowly and drove off their mansion.

The couple arrived at the company and parked. They went straight to the elevator. Lara pressed one of the buttons.  After the elevator stopped both of them got off. 

 As soon as they entered the first-floor hall they saw a man coming in their direction with a smile.

" Good morning! " He greeted them 

 "Hi, Liam! " 

Lara answered the man in front of them. It was her brother. He looked amazing today. Liam wore a pastel green suit that went well with his firm looks. Many would call him handsome seeing his dark black hair, green eyes, and good build. Kate only nodded at him and pulled Lara closer. She didn't get along with Liam. He didn't really like her as well but they still tried to tolerate each other in front of Lara. They didn't want to make her sad or upset.

" Did you organize the files I gave you before? " 

Kate asked. 

"Yeah." 

He answered with nonchalance and handled her something. Kate nodded at him. Lara meanwhile looked at her brother. She really loved him and cared for him. She was really happy that they could work together. It was all thanks to Kate's father George Davis who ruled this international and well-known company "DV". The company headquarters as well as Lara, her wife, and her brother were in London.  

When Katya offered Lara a job here the woman happily accepted her offer since it would mean that they would work together. They were already dating at that time. Their relationship started when they were assigned to share a room together at their university's campus.

 They were only friends at that time. Going to classes and party's together and living with each other at the same time made them grow attached to each other. They shared similar perspectives and later also feelings.  Finally, Kate asked Lara out. The other women agreed. 

They officially started dating that night and are going out with each other to this day. In the meantime, their college ended. After getting their diplomas Lara started looking for a job. It was at that time that Kate offered her to work in her family's company. After a while, Liam also graduated and joined them there. 

Lara smiled. Everything was going great. She looked at her brother again. He was now arguing with Kate. She scrunched her eyebrows. She didn't like them fighting with each other

" Let's go. " Lara said while pulling her lover back to the elevator and leaving her brother behind. They were working on different floors so they had to split up.
