Chapter Eight - Everything's made to be broken

NATHAN'S POV

Five hours. Is that how long it can take you to have something big sink in? 

Alexa had locked herself in her room and wasn't coming out.

I wish I could do the same. But I couldn't. No way. I had to be the man. Alexa and I couldn't have a child together, it was just too much. 

"Do you want us to leave?" Jay asked. I nodded. 

"It's just because I need some time with Alexa." I replied. The boys smiled understanding. 

The came and gave me one big hug. 

"Take care mate!" Tom said smiling patting my shoulder. 

"We'll see you tomorrow," Siva added. They all left me in the corridor as I sat by Alexa's door. I knocked lightly on it. 

"Who is it?" she whispered. 

"Nathan." I responded. 

"Come in," she said, she unlocked the door and I got up and went in. She was sat on her bed, her head in her hands. 

"Alexa. Everything will be fine. But we can't have a baby together, so you might need to have an abortion." 

She looked up at me. 

"I know Nathan. I'm so young, we're so young. I'm not ready! I'm scared..." she whimpered. I pulled her on to my lap and kissed her cheek. She buried her head in to my collar bone. I rubbed her back as she had a quiet cry. 

"Shh, everything will be alright. I'm sure our baby will go to lovely parents who have been waiting for one." I stroked her hair and softly kissed her head. 

"Nathan I love you." she looked up, her big brown eyes staring deeply in to me.

"I love you too babe." I smiled and pecked her lips. 

ALEXA'S POV

I couldn't help it. After he pecked my lips I had the urge to kiss him even more. I placed my hand on the back of his neck and pulled his head close so our noses touched. He grinned and closed the space connecting our lips. We moved in sink and he ran his hands up my back. I moaned in the kiss. He chuckled and pulled away. 

"I think it's time we had some sleep." he laughed. 

"I'm sleeping with you!" I replied. 

"Yeah. I'm gonna make sure of that," he winked, "Come on then." 

He grabbed my hand and we walked back to his room. 

He took off his shirt and trousers and climbed in to bed, I looked through his chest of drawers and took out a top. I pulled mine off and replaced it with his one. 

I crawled in to bed next to him and snuggled my small body in to his. He was like a protection. Nathan wrapped his arms around my waist. 

"Goodnight beautiful." he kissed my forehead. 

"Goodnight Nath." I kissed his lips and he laughed. 

"What did I do to deserve that?" 

"Everything."
