"God, but life is loneliness, despite the shrill tinsel gaiety of "parties" with no purpose, despite the false grinning faces that we all wear" -Sylvia Plath

Life has always something to offer, for me, for you and for everybody on this planet. We meet a lot of people, some of them gets a permanent place in our lives, in our hearts while some, some just come to teach us something. Their roles in our life is for that certain period of time. We do question life that why this happens? Why people walk away? but somewhere deep inside our hearts we know that life is justified......

Because when you decide to quit, when you are on your knees it pulls you up and gives you another reason to live, every time....

PROLOGUE

"Yes", I said grinning from ear to ear

"I promise I won't make you regret this", he whispered

"Hopefully", I replied ruefully

He kept his hand around my waist, pulling me slowly towards him. I was looking at my feet, blushing like anything.

"I'm lucky Es, for calling you mine", he said with a husky voice

He held my chin up, forcing me to look into his eyes, stepping closer, his breath mixing with mine.

He tugged a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Is he going to kiss me?"

"Idiot! You just said yes".... My subconscious did a face palm

"Umm.. Yes I did but still is he really going to kiss me?"

"close your eyes dumbass, no body kisses with their eyes open"

Everyone has a inner voice, they call their subconscious. Well! Mine is a super-dramatic bitch.

"Argh"

"My first kiss?"

"Shut up for God sake's"

"I'm not ready"

"WHATTTT????", my subconscious jumped on her feet and was now pulling her sleeves up, getting ready to give me a punch.

"Kiss him"

"No"

"Yes"

"Esme you can breathe now", he let a chuckle

I never realized that I was holding my breath

"Umm... Daniel I thought you were...", I stuttered

"Yeah I was going to kiss you but I guess I'll just have to wait, you aren't ready as yet"

"No I'm, kiss me please.....", my subconscious was getting on my nerves now.

"Shut up", I hissed through clenched teeth

"What?", Daniel eyed me with a confused look

"Not you", I retorted

"Haha, Es relax I'm not going to kiss you unless you are ready for that", he said giggling hysterically at my lack of confidence.
