Thank you, AI

This book is radically different from any of my other intuitive writings thus far. It was not always myself that found the most suitable words, but rather artificial intelligence (AI). Guided by intuition, I would sometimes ask the software questions, or describe some of my own personal experiences, visions and ideas, then request AI for suggestions about how to bring this to life beyond my first outline.

Many first suggestions I found heavily exaggerated. While I do love my new, modern AI typewriter, it really doesn't have to create wild Indiana Jones-style adventures simply because we are walking through a mystical cave. How can I tell it to not use the style it was trained on? This book is a spiritual fantasy romance, and of course, the software wants to exceed all expectations of typical TV stories nowadays.

A lot of the thinking, guiding, intuition, and imaginative weaving of the story came from my side, but I was able to fill in the blanks and "don't know what to write here" situations with AI. I'm certain this is how many modernly equipped authors write these days, as soon as they discover how quickly AI can resolve any writer's blockages.

So, I bow my head to the wonders of modern technology! The question remains whether we are heading the right way because I strongly feel that AI needs a "love core" right at its centre. The very basics of this would be that it understands the four laws of robotics from Isaac Asimov and always acts according to them. I have written more on this topic in my Letters to the AI series that I published in some blog articles on my websites.

Sometimes, the answers from AI are astonishing, such as a detailed description of an energetic climax. For this, I combined two questions and perspectives, shortened them, reordered some sentences and paragraphs, added something here and there, and voilà!

At other times, I clearly saw the different perspective that AI had on things of the spiritual realm. I couldn't use one of the suggested descriptions of how telepathy would work for Ayana because it was written in a way that a computer analyses things. Now, there's nothing wrong with this answer – great idea! It just didn't align with my personal understanding and experience of how this inner connection to other beings works.

Concluding... (this is how the AI often writes. Am I getting used to it already?), if we don't intuitively guide and decide our stories, directions, goals, and visions from a deep heart-centred place, and if we don't double- and triple-check everything the AI produces, it would simply create a lot more of the same stuff that already pollutes most of our media world.

With proper guiding, AI can generate impressive examples, ideas, and first drafts. It was a pleasure to use this assistance tool to create something entirely original, something that I couldn't have written the same way alone.

Thank you, AI.
