" A fault of such scarcity could not be caused by nothing , there must be a hidden truth behind it!"

_______________

Near the meander rivers , behind and upon the tipping mountains , sits a small cottage of white walls , covered with green leaves that trace the surface barrier. A large forest surrounds the enclosure, a mixture of tall trees that together form a minimal rainbow and flowers that sway with the harmony of the evening breeze.

Within the cottage resides two ebullient individuals , both with lengthy golden hair , fair and shimmering skin and hazelnut eyes that entice those from afar. The two maidens who occupy this space are myself and my sister ,having being abandoned as children , we've learnt to rely upon one another. I've nurtured and raised her alongside me , in our sweet little humble-abode.

Each day we'd caper across the large rocks of the flowing river and trot our way to town , to the average place we'd call Gavaldon , also surrounded by trees , the only difference being there were walkways made of cobblestone , and wooden homes packed together like compressed sardines. Who was I to judge though? Cobblestone was nowhere near my home.

As we entered through the large gates , we greeted a few passersby who simply nodded in return. The villagers were all so very nice— well , only to those who presented as though they were yanked from fairytales, such as Melody and I.

Melody slid her hand into mine , still not comfortable with the town as we'd only recently begun visiting, I smiled lightly in return , and held her hand a bit tighter , though the comfort remained. I was sincerely glad that even with our age gap , the love we had for one another would forever remain.

" Sister. You said once we made another visit , we'd linger about the book parlor? " Melody spoke , glancing around the narrow streets and bumping her shoulders with the few people she'd pass. Regular I thought.

" Yes Melody we will , you know I never go back on a promise! " I nudged her teasingly. " I heard they received a sky-ton of fairytales last noon , and I also heard there's a few special ones that we do not want to miss.. " I added , moving a strand of hair behind my ear.

" Is that so , I hope what you're saying is truthful— I know you adults have been so very forgetful these days!- " I gasped and hit her on her upper arm playfully, rolling my eyes at her hurtful words.

" My dear , twenty-five is not old at all! Whatever do you mean! You little twat! "

She giggled and let go of my hand , power-walking towards our usual book store. She put the side of her hands against the glass , peering inside.
