Y/N was happy that Lizzie was finally home, waking up before her to make her her favourite breakfast in bed. Walking up the stairs to her room, softly stepping carefully as they entered the room as to not startle her awake.

They placed the tray down on the night stand, moving her hair from her face. Smiling as she still remained peacefully asleep.

"Liz." Y/N spoke softly. Trying to coax her from her sleep. Which she soon smiled as she started to wake up. "Good morming." They smiled as she opened her eyes. A tired smile forming on her lips.

"Good morning." She smiled as she slowly moved to sit up. Pecking their lips lightly. Smiling even brighter as Y/N moved the tray on to her lap. "I could get used to waking up beside you."

"Me too." They smiled as they sat before her. "I also have an appointment with the estate agent."

"Why?" She asked them. Hoping they aren't going to move out.

"I need to find my own place so I am not intruding on your space." They told her honestly.

"I like you here." She pouted as they sighed. "I really do Y/N. We have been best friends for years. We know everything about each other."

Y/N started to feel bad for making Lizzie feel like this, but an idea forming in their mind along with a soft smile on their face.

"Why don't we find somewhere together. It can be ours." They suggested with a smile. Lizzie couldn't help the smile growing on her face at the thought of living with Y/N. The person she has loved for so long.

"I would love that." She whispered before kissing them softly. "A place, all our own."

"All our own." Y/N agreed, kissing her softly once more. Y/N just never knew that Lizzie was their person all along, just like they are Lizzie's.

As the weeks went on, both Lizzie and Y/N looked for their own home. Just outside of the city. Y/N wanted a home with a big garden.

"This garden is perfect." Y/N smiled as the two looked around. The house was slightly smaller than the others that they had looked at. "You can build your garden over here, still leaving a lot of room for the kids to run around. Maybe fit in a soccer goal posts."

"Kids?" Lizzie questioned. Her heart beating out of her chest. "You want to have kids?"

"I've always wanted to have kids of my own." They told her with a shy smile. "But now as I used to picture a faceless woman beside me, I can only see you. You and I, raising our kids together." Lizzie couldn't help but kiss them passionately, her hands cupping their cheeks.

"Let's get this one." She whispered.

"Really?" They asked her as she nodded eagerly.

"This is going to be the place we will call home for the rest of our lives." She told them softly. Y/N just kissed her again before leading her back inside. Finding the agent in the kitchen. Setting up a date to sign the papers and pick up the keys.

--‐--------------------------------------------------------------

Once they had finally picked up the keys, Y/N and Jeremy were decorating the bedroom and the living room as Lizzie and Scarlett were packing up their belongings.

"So when will I need to get my suit pressed?" Jeremy asked them with a smirk.

"What?" They asked him, blushing profusely.

"For the wedding." He spoke in a duh tone.

"I have looking around for a ring, but I couldn't find any that I really like." They sighed. "I want to get her one that is special. One that has a story behind it."

"I have Nana's ring." He mentioned, causing Y/N to give him their attention.

"You have that?" They asked him.

"Mum gave it to me after Nana passed away, but I already married mine. So I thought I would keep hold of it for you." He informed them.

"Why didn't you give it to me for when I wanted to propose to Delilah?" They asked him curiously.

"Because I was really rooting for you and Lizzie." He admitted as Y/N just smirked. "I could tell that you guys were meant to be. I just wish you weren't so fucking clueless."

"Hey! Don't hate on my innocence." Y/N feigned hurt as the two laughed.

"So, when do you plan on proposing to her?" He asked them.

"Spring." They told him. "I want to take her to Japan in the spring. And propose to her as we walk beside the Meguro River. It looks so beautiful when the blossom trees are blooming. Magical even."

"That's going to be amazing." Jeremy smiled at them. "She will say yes regardless." He told them before the two decided to finish.

----------------------------------------------------------

Lizzie was tending to her garden as Y/N walked up behind her. A wide smile on their face. Jeremy had already gave them the ring.

"Hey." They whispered as they wrapped their arms around her form.

"Hey. You scared me." Lizzie replied softly before turning to give them a sweet kiss.

"I have a surprise for you." They told her. Her eyes sparkled in the sunlight as she waited.

"What?" She asked them with a raised brow.

"These." They handed her the tickets.

"Japan?" She questioned as they nodded.

"There's a lot of beautiful places there. Especially in the spring and I'm not working yet and you have time off." They spoke softly. "So I thought we could go. Have a holiday. Lord knows you deserve it my love."

"This is amazing." She wrapped her arms around their neck. "I can't wait." She kissed them softly.
