You were sleeping soundly in your room until you heard a tap on the window, you didn't hear it at first but you heard the second tap. You ignored it, hinting that it was a tree branch. Your room is upstairs and trees surround your house which you don't mind since you can see a bird's nest and you loved birds.

Speaking of birds—

–“Tap tap”

You heard the 3rd tap, making you grumble in irritation as you get up to see where or what is causing the sound.

You turned around.

"Hawks?" Your eyes shot up to the window, seeing a waving Hawks outside the window while he uses his wings to fly.

You rushed to the window, opening it. "What are you doing here–" You smell something. "–Is that alcohol?" You asked, covering your nose from the stench.

You could only get a chuckle from the winged-man. "Hi (Y/N)." He said in a slur.

"You're drunk."

"Yeah I know, but I already drank some water. Probably gonna sober up in a little while." He was smiling in a goofy way which made him look cute.

You could only sigh. "It's–" You grabbed your phone to check the time. "–1:00 am." You placed your phone back to where it was. "Why did you come here so late?" You yawned, realizing that you were still sleepy.

"I just missed my babybird, can't I miss you?" He said, leaning closer to you. He was quite sober now.

You back away, not wanting to smell the stench of alcohol on him. "I miss you too, but you could've just come over in the morning." You rubbed your eyes, the drowsiness surging in you.

He held your hand. "I couldn't wait." He pulled you closer, now lifting you off the ground without warning.

"H-Hey!" You were taken aback.

He fixed your position, now carrying you in a bridal type of way. He lifted up higher.

"Where are we going?" You asked, looking up at him.

He didn't say a word, he flew higher.

It was pretty, the gentle blobs of light that you can see from afar, it was comforting to the eyes. The dark sky helped as well, creating a more peaceful ambience.

"Pretty, isn't it?" He had a soft tone this time.

You just nodded as you admired the comforting scenery.

"Just like you." He teased, but it had a genuine tone to it.

You could feel your face flush. He looked down to see your reaction–

–Yep, just the reaction he wanted from you. That cute expression that he admired and craved for a long time. "I really missed you." He said in a whisper as he adjusted both of his hands just to lift you towards him, now your foreheads in contact.

You could feel heat surge in your body as he whispered those 4 words on your face, making your heart race.

"Why did you drink?" You asked him.

He still didn't budge from your forehead. "Ah, me and number 1 just wanted to have a hang out so yeah." He shrugged his shoulders, looking at you seriously now in the eyes. "You don't like the smell?" He had a soft gaze.

You nodded your head, admitting that you didn't like it.

"Alright, I won't drink next time I visit you." He says this as he brings your noses closer.

You couldn't help but crack a warm smile. "Thanks."

He chuckled softly. "Do you feel cold?" He had a soft tone.

"Mm, nope." You said in response.

"Mmm, too bad. I'll kiss you anyways." He teased as he places a soft kiss on your lips.

He really missed you, your face, your heat, everything. He deepens the kiss. You could feel yourself kiss him back. After awhile, he pulls back. "God, you're so tasty." He chuckled.

You could feel your face heat up even more. "Hey, let's keep it PG." You said in a serious tone.

He chuckled more. "Of course." He then landed on a building's rooftop, it was a tall building. You could still see the blobs of light, feeling very comfortable.

You felt all the more comfortable as he sat you down on the roof and he sits from behind, wrapping his arms around you. He whispers into your right ear, "Let's stay like this, yeah?" He had a soft and loving tone in his voice.

You nodded, feeling so many warmth inside your body as you two continued to cuddle on top of a roof's building while admiring the calming city lights.
