(buckle up because this one is one hell of a roller coaster!)
Layla's POV
Violet and I walked back to the grandstands and I sat down on the edge of one of the rows, whereas Violet sat herself right beside Midoriya.
"How'd you think we did Midoriya?" Violet smiled at him and he gave her a flustered but solemn laugh and looked down to the notebook he had in his lap.
"I think your performance was amazing. I've never seen or heard anyone doing anything like that at the sport festival before! It must've been nerve racking down there." He said and shivered at the thought of doing what we just did. I laughed and sighed, carefully leaning my head on Violet's shoulder and shrugged.
"It was a little scary, but besides that, I don't think it was really nerve racking." I said, thinking about other more important things. Violet and I have had our fun and now it was time for me to think about who I was going to fight next.
If Bakugo won his fight against Tokoyami, he and Todoroki would be fighting each other, but that meant that I wouldn't have anyone to fight. I decided not to worry about it too much because it would just give me a headache, which I definitely didn't need right now.
"So my question now has to be, what other songs did you have on that I-pod?" Jiro asked while leaning an arm on the back of my seat, I glanced to Violet and she looked right back.
"Well, one of them was going to be WAP, but," I started and I noticed that Midoriya's face paled and Mineta's got red and he started to smirk, that's when I quickly finished my sentence, "But, when we ran it by Nezu he said it would be better if we didn't sing/dance to it."
Midoriya relaxed and Jiro just looked ever so slightly worried, "So what other songs did you have on that list?" Her voice dwindled slightly but luckily Violet spoke up. Because if I'm being honest, I couldn't remember what songs were on the list.
"The other three songs that were on that list were Gimmie More, Candy Shop and Talk Dirty. But, Layla actually knows all the words to Unholy so we just did that!" I nodded, remembering the songs now that Violet had said them.
"Why didn't you just fight with your quirks?" Momo asked and We both just shrugged.
"Well Momo, that is easy, and I like making things harder for myself!" Violet smiled and I couldn't help but laugh, "She does. I've seen it with my own eyes. She eats chocolate like she's in prison, Oh! And literally everytime we go out somewhere, she always wears the wrongs clothes for the weather, because she can 'handle it'." I tried my best to keep a straight face, but when I saw the face Violet had on I had burst into laughter.
Her jaw was dropped and she had the most offended expression known to man on her face.
It was so amazing and I just wanted to take a photo of her face. She started hitting me, yelling at me to stop laughing at her and to shut up.
"Bakugo wins this battle! The final round will be to see who will win the sports festival! The first fight is Todoroki vs Layla, then Bakugo vs who ever wins out of those first two. Buckle up ladies and gentlemen because this is going to be one hell of a final round!"
Oh, so that's how they're going to do it, I thought to myself and nodded. It was fairly reasonable to set it out that way, so Bakugo could have some sort of break.
It would be amazing if I won and fought Bakugo, but I just know that there is no way in hell that I would win against Todoroki.I stood up and placed my hands on my hips, "Well, I better be off then. Todoroki has already gone, which is my que to leave!" I stated and before I could leave, Midoriya caught my attention.
