War

The 4th great shinobi war had begun and the Akatsuki launched a full scale attack on the Allied Shinobi forces, consisting of all five great nations. Naruto was currently in the land of lightning training with their jinchuriki Killer B. Currently they were the only jinchuriki alive, and Naruto had yet to fully bond with Kurama. It wasn't that they didn't trust each other, but Naruto hadn't yet released the seal to fully tap into the nine tails power. Kurama had long ago gotten rid of his hatred, but controlling the vast amount of chakra he had was a struggle on its own. After a long time, Naruto finally tapped into his full power, with a new form dubbed KCM 2. His powers now were far beyond what any Kage could reach, having not only the nine tails, but the eternal form of the sharingan, and then the most powerful dojutsu the rinnegan. Excitedly anticipating the battle he and Killer B flashed to the battlefield with his flying raijin marker he had given Tsunade.
Tsunade and the other Kage were in a heated fight against the masked man and the other reanimated Akatsuki members when the jinchuriki appeared. "Naruto what are you doing here!?" Tsunade barked at him. The now black haired boy said nothing as he stared down his soon-to-be opponents. The Raikage also berrated his brother for showing up to the worst possible place for them to be in but Killer B wasn't listening. The masked man dashed at Naruto before others could react to rip out the nine tails with his rinnegan, but was shocked when Naruto not only dodged but countered him hitting him with a mean uppercut sending him backwards. He didn't even have time to recover properly but had to use his kamui to escape two Rasen-Shuriken thrown at him, the attacks destroying the area behind him splitting their forces. He dusted himself down before speaking "It would seem I finally have a worthy opponent, these mere children couldn't even make me sweat". Naruto grinned maniacally "Oh trust me you'll be more than sweating". Everyone jumped back as with a huge explosion of chakra Naruto and the masked man were already clashing, punches, kicks, the occasional fireball, it was a fight to watch - but no one had time. The masked man continued his attack and seemingly saw an opening, he jumped towards Naruto but was caught off guard when a shadow clone slammed a fire style rasengan into his back. He fell face first shattering his mask and revealing his true identity. Obito Uchiha grit his teeth feeling the burn on his back, but thankfully it wouldn't slow him down too much because of the Hashirama cells. His mangekyo and the now revealed rinnegan blazed in all their glory, but the reaction of Tsunade and the others there weren't that of shock or fear. They didn't seem phased at all. His eyes widened in shock as Naruto's own mangekyo and rinnegan were revealed. Since when was the nine tails jinchuriki an Uchiha? How come he never noticed? When did he get the rinnegan? He then remembered that when he killed Conan he found that one of the rinnegan was missing. Now this had all but put the tide of the battle against him. His opponent had not only the two most powerful dojutsu in the world but the strongest tailed beast as well. What a mismatch. In defiance Obito rushed at Naruto at full speed, the jinchuriki keeping up just fine. Their battle became even fiercer as they fought for dominance. Obito was losing ground quickly but his kamui was a big help in evening things out a bit. Naruto kicked him back and shot a lightning bolt at Obito who phased through it, only for him to be hit with the full force of an Almighty push. "You won't get in the way of my goal!" Obito yelled as wood spikes shot out from the floor towards Naruto who dodged them easily. Naruto propelled himself upwards with a fireball but Obito had anticipated that. He shot wood pillars from the ground towards the air-borne Naruto. To his shock all the spikes were sucked into portals and stabbed into him from different sides. Obito coughed out blood stumbling forward. "What the hell ... Was that?". He hadn't expected Naruto to pull out a move like that. "I have my own space time jutsu as well" he said with a cheeky grin. Zetsu was watching from a distance and knowing fully well that Obito would lose eventually decided to make his move. The battle between Naruto and Obito was reaching it's climax when Zetsu suddenly attached himself to Obito shocking the Uchiha. "Zetsu what are you doing!!??". "You've exhausted your use". Obito forcefully weaved handsigns activating the rinne-rebirth jutsu. He fell limp to the floor with a look of disbelief on his face. A coffin rose from the ground and out stepped Madara Uchiha. "It can't be..." Tsunade said with dread. "Ah, finally back to the world of the living" Madara said stretching out. "You did well Obito, but you've exhausted your usefulness. Rest well". Naruto wasted no time charging at Madara but even though he was blind he somehow managed to evade the attack. "I like your spirit boy, you amuse me". Madara kicked Naruto backwards and shot a fireball at him to create distance. He then bent down and ripped the rinnegan from Obito implanting it in his own eye socket. "Now that I can see...". Madara appeared behind Naruto shocking him, as he was about to land a hit to his neck the boy fell into the ground taking Madara by surprise. Naruto emerged from behind him kicking at his head but his opponent was fast enough to dodge. "Timespace ninjutsu, how intriguing. You're much like Obito". "Damn you old man!" Naruto said shooting a missile at Madara who jumped out of the way and dashed at him. "You don't even know how to use my rinnegan properly! I'm taking it back!". They engaged in a heated taijutsu exchange, with Madara of course having the upper hand even with Naruto's mangekyo ability. Madara was a shinobi in a league of his own - only rivalled by the first Hokage. Naruto was kicked back as a lightning dragon rushed at him. He opened up a portal absorbing the attack. Madara was expecting the attack to come to him anytime soon, but nothing happened. He began to laugh maniacally. "You've used too much chakra already, disappointing for a jinchuriki. Where did you send my attack to?". Naruto grit his teeth and charged at Madara again, but this time the Raikage also charged at him. It seemed he was not only going to fight Naruto but the Kage as well. He made shadow clones that each rushed at their targets as he tried to focus on Naruto. Naruto to Madara's shock burst out with a wave of golden chakra. His eyes widened in shock and awe at the power oozing off his opponent. "The power of the Kyuubi. Magnificent!". Naruto with newfound speed blitzed at Madara and kicking him away. Madara blocked but felt his bones crack at the force. His eyes widened as he registered the feeling that filled his body, the feeling that he knew all too well. "Sage energy ... Impossible". Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju were said to be absolute rivals matched in every sense of the word, but in truth there was one thing that scaled Hashirama over him. The thing that gave him the name "Kami no Shinobi"- sage mode. He could never really understand how it worked but he couldn't deny it's power. And to think this child attained such power was infuriating, but in some sick twisted way Madara was proud of his descendant. "Your power is incredible jinchuriki, if the circumstances were different you could've been a worthy sparring partner". A blue figure then erupted around Madara towering over everyone. Naruto took a deep breath knowing this was it. 'You ready Kurama?'. The fox growled in excitement. 'Born ready!'. A gigantic fox avatar grew around Naruto and stood tall matching Madara's Susanno. Suddenly a whitish-grey armour began to envelop the beast as four swords former at it's hands. Madara couldn't hide his excitement. Finally someone other than Hashirama that could push him to the absolute limit. "The immense power of the Kyuubi, and the might of the Susanno, the ultimate attack and defense". Both behemoths clashed in a battle of gargantuan proportions, levelling the landscape below. Madara's Susanno was holding it's own well against Naruto's, until it began to weave handsigns. The sky became dark and Madara spoke. "Let's see how you handle this test boy!". A massive meteor covering the battlefield approached slowly as the shinobi could only look on in horror. Naruto unsheathed his blades and simultaneously sliced at the meteor causing it to explode but to Madara's surprise the bits of the shattered meteor warped out of reality. 'His mangekyo ability is a pain to deal with' Madara thought. Naruto then charged a tailed beast bomb in the mouth of Kurama and two Rasen-Shuriken in both of it's arms. Madara powered his Susanoo to it's full power knowing this could kill him if it landed. As the attacks collided with Madara's Susanno the resulting explosion blinded everyone. As the dust and flashes settled there was no sight of both giant figures. Naruto had dropped down to the ground as his sage mode ran out, his eyes burning with over exertion. Madara wasn't faring any better as he too was in bad shape. He clenched his fists in anger. He couldn't beat a mere kid? His plan would not come to be if he didn't. He was going to do that, or die trying. His rinnegan was blazing with fury as he prepared another attack ... but Naruto stuck a blade through a portal right through Madara's heart. He coughed out blood and staggered forward still trying to process what happened. "N-no..." he said weakly falling to the ground dead. Naruto slumped down in relief, his exhaustion finally coming to play. Just as they thought it was all over, a hand went through Naruto's chest, the blond's eyes widening at his attacker. "S-sasuke". Sasuke had finally appeared and took advantage of the colossal battle to finish off Naruto. "I told you this wasn't over". Sasuke then used his newly gained rinnegan to rip out the nine tails from Naruto and got control of the gedo statue. In Naruto's mind scape he was fuming, how could he die like that? Sasuke of all people. In the middle of his self-loathing an old man in robes appeared before him.
"Naruto Uzumaki. Do not be discouraged. There is still a chance, a chance that your counterpart will not put the world into an era of darkness. You are the reincarnation of my younger son Ashura Otsutsuki, and hence I give you his power. Fight Naruto, and save this world". Naruto woke up in an explosion of power blowing Sasuke back. He got up to see that he didn't have Kurama in him anymore, and that the gedo statue was almost complete. "How are you still alive!?" Sasuke yelled in rage. Naruto turned to Sasuke and the Uchiha's eyes widened in shock seeing his own rinnegan. Naruto due to the power boost gained tomoes in his rinnegan, thereby gaining almost the full abilities if the sage himself. Naruto blitzed at his enemy and kicked him into the sky rocketing after him. Sasuke was taken aback as he was being ping-ponged across the sky not being able to do anything. In desperation he used the Amaterasu to hopefully burn Naruto to death, but he absorbed it with his space time ability. Sasuke erupted into his full Indra's Susanoo and Naruto did the same. Both ethereal warriors clashed and swung massive fists at each other. The power of the sons of the sage on full display as the battle was even more chaotic than with Madara. Sasuke shot a massive lightning arrow at Naruto who's Susanoo slashed it out of sight. Sasuke didn't relent as his drive to kill Naruto and take over the shinobi world fueled his endeavor. All of a sudden his eyes began to burn as the strain it was taking was beginning to take its hold. Sasuke's Susanoo dropped and he was slapped into the ground by Naruto who dropped his Susanoo as well. They both landed on the water and dashed at each other clashing in the middle. They exchanged blows but Sasuke quickly began to lose. Naruto was seeing red at this point as the thoughts of Sakura came to him, how she died, and if Sasuke won here, how his friends would all die, how Temari would die- and he wasn't having any of it. Sasuke shot a massive fireball at Naruto who jumped out of the way but Sasuke who predicted this was already there with a chidori to end it all. Naruto smirked at Sasuke who's eyes widened feeling his own arm pierce through his stomach. He yelled in pain and dropped to the water and as he hit the water a portal opened above him and Naruto said. "Madara's jutsu didn't go to waste after all". A huge amount of lightning blasted down onto Sasuke frying him and leaving him at the point of death. Naruto walked slowly up to Sasuke guard still up knowing how petty he could be. "This is it Sasuke, you killed alot of people, and now it's your turn". Sasuke laughed maniacally before saying. "This is all because I killed that pink haired bitch!! She deserved it!! Even you know that!! I'm just happy you'll live with the guilt for the rest of your life!!". Naruto without a word stabbed a chidori through Sasuke's chest, small tears escaping from his eyes. While he said he hated him, a small part of him, that little kid in the academy wished things could've been different. "I'm sorry ... Sasuke" he said beginning to shed tears for his former best friend.
