Hailee's POV:

Today, my wife, Y/N, and I will be inviting over some friends for a little get together. My parents and Griff are coming as well, but so is Y/N's sister, Taylor Swift. I love Taylor, and honest to god, I miss her too.

Our son, Walker, is now 5 years old, and let's just say he loves jumping on his mama. Then there's our other son, Alex, is now 10, who again, loves when Y/N plays any kind of sport with him. He gets that from her. Then finally there's our oldest daughter, Emma, who's 13. She's just like me in every way, but she gets her love for Star Wars from her mom. One thing that she also got from Y/N was her y/e/c eyes. Their so beautiful. Every time I look in them, they remind me why I fell in love with my wife.

"Hailee? Babe?" I hear Y/N's voice from the hallway, snapping me out my thoughts and look up to see her leaning against the door frame with a worried look on her face. "You okay, baby?"

"Never better my love." I smile softly and stand up, wrapping my arms around her waist, I feel her lean into my touch as she looks up at me with a soft smile.

"I was just about to go to the store, do you need anything?" She asks me.

"I'll go for you baby. Go relax, I'll get everything, and take Emma with me. The boys can stay with you." I say and tuck a hair behind her ear, cupping her cheek.

"Are you sure? I don't mind." She says tilting her head to lean more into my hand.

"Of course, baby. Get some rest." I kiss her forehead. "I'll be back soon, kay?"

"Mmm." She hummed and buried her face in my neck as her arm reach around my torso. Moments like these are what make me forever grateful for Y/N. I couldn't ask for a better wife.

I walked downstairs with Y/N and saw Emma on her phone texting her friends, Alex watching a football game, and finally Walker, who was playing with his dinosaurs in the middle of the living room.

"Emma, you're coming with me. We're going to the store." I said and reached for my purse.

"Okay, sounds fun." She said and turned off her phone, reaching for her jacket and shoes.

"Bye babe, I love you, we'll be back soon." I say pecking Y/N's lips before walking with Emma out the door.

"Em, we don't need all that chocolate." I pays and she looks at me. "We only need some." I take some candy bars out as Emma giggles.

We go down a few more aisles, grabbing everything we need. I go and pick up some wine for tonight, some gum for Y/N, some protein shakes for Alex and Y/N, Oreos for Walker, and I just let Emma pick out whatever she wanted.

We finally checked out, packed up, and our now on our way home when I got a text from Zendaya.

Hey Haiz, is there anything I need to bring for tonight?

Nope. We got everything 😁

I turned off my phone as we pulled into the driveway. Emma helped me with the bags and while the kids played, Y/N helped me with getting everything ready.

Finally, an hour later, me and Y/N, finally got the backyard set up. The kids were playing outside with her while I greeted everyone at the door.

"Taylor! Hi!" I greeted her, giving her a tight hug.

"Oh, Hailee! It's been too long! I missed you!" She squealed.

"I missed you too." I replied.

"How's my sister?"

"Amazing, as always." I say with a dreamy smile. She laughs and pats my shoulder before walking to the backyard.

Soon everyone had arrived. Zendaya, Tom, Flo, Scarlett, Lizzie, Jeremey, and Selena. We were all sitting, laughing, and drinking. I looked over to see my wife playing with Alex. Soon everyone looked over, seeing as she hasn't played basketball in so long, we were intrigued.

"Okay, momma. 1v1. Let's go." Alex states as he gets in his position. "I'm gonna wipe the floor with you."

"Oh you wish bud." Y/N smirks as she passed the ball to him. I look over and see Emma laughing at the scene, already knowing who's gonna win. I, on the other hand, have no clue.

Y/N won. My wife won. She won 20-8. Alex didn't seem upset, he was more in awe that his momma could love like that.

"Greta job babe! Get her next time Lex!" I yell not trying to play favorites.

"Damn your good!" Alex exclaims.

"Language." Y/N chuckles. She walks over to my and wraps her arms around my neck, leaning down to rest her chin on my shoulder. I feel her place a light sweet kiss on my neck which instantly makes me turn my head at the perfect angle to kiss her passionately.

"Ew! Can you two not do that?" Emma complains with a playful smile. We pull apart and look a her before throwing some chips at her. She laughs and shakes her head, blowing us a kiss.

"This is the perfect family I could ever ask for." Y/N whispers in my ear. "I love you so much."

"I love you more. I wouldn't trade our family for anything in the world." I say and kiss her softly. And I meant it, this is the perfect family.
