The next morning, Alexander was led back into the interrogation room. The same two guards escorted him back to the oak table and sat him down. Then they retook their positions at the other side of the table.

"Two interviews back-to-back? You people must be getting desperate." He pestered.

"Look, Alexander. The sooner you spill Syndicate secrets, the sooner we can be done with this."

"And by be done you mean execute me, right?"

"I, uh..."

"What kind of idiot do you take me for? Once I talk, you'll have the green light to pull the trigger. I know you fools want to be rid of me now, but you can't. If you could, you would've shot me by now, most likely yesterday. But you can't. And that's because I hold valuable information you can't afford to lose! And what's worse, I'm the only one who has said information! As far as I'm concerned, that gives me full control here."

"Okay, you're right! We are going to execute you! As soon as we get what we want we are going to line you up against a wall and fill your bodies with lead! And when that happens, when we cut the cancer that is the Syndicate from the earth, I will be smiling the whole damn time! I lay awake at night, longing for the day I get to rob you of your last breath! Oh and how I wish we could make it slow! How I beg for you to suffer, just like how you made all of your victims suffer! So why don't you do us all a favor and talk so you can drop dead!" There was a pause. Alexander stared at the guard as he huffed and puffed.

"Got a pen?" He sighed.

"What?"

"I pity you. I really do. Allowing your feeble mind to be consumed by my actions. I'll give you what you want so you can sleep at night." The guard was taken aback. His eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape. He frantically pulled out a pen and a small piece of paper. He slammed them on the desk and slid them to Alexander. Alexander then picked up the pen, clicked it a few times, and began writing. "I won't make this easy for you, however. I'm not keen on handing out answers like charity work. I'll provide all the pieces, it's up to you to solve the puzzle."

"Heh, with compliance like this, we could maybe lower your sentence to life in jail."

"Hm. I wouldn't count on it. 18, 34, 72, 9, 35, 50, 61, 57, 27, 84, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." He counted. Suddenly, a large explosion rocked the facility. The room went red as alarms blared. Screaming, shouting, and gun fire could be heard just outside the room.

"Containment breach in progress. Please secure all prisoners." The security system instructed. Alexander smirked.

"What the hell was that?!" The one guard shouted. Both whipped around to face the door, rifles held up.

"Someone just breached the building!"

"Containment breach in progress. Please secure all prisoners." The system repeated. Alexander silently stood up from his chair. He flicked the pen around in his hand and held it like a dagger.

"Well come on, we have to resecure the facility! Starting with this one!" As the guard turned around, Alexander plunged the pen into his neck. Alexander then snatched the rifle from the guard's hands and kicked the body into the other guard.

"SHIT!" A hailstorm of bullets escaped the barrel of the gun, piercing the armor and flesh of the two guards. They stumbled back and collapsed onto the floor, blood splattered and smeared across the wall.

"Idiots. Did they forget who I am?" Alexander coughed. He keeled over on his way back to his oxygen tank, hacking and spitting up everything in his lungs. He managed to shuffle over and properly secure the tank to his back. A loud metallic hissing caught Alexander's attention. Orange sparks flew out from the door frame and soon the big metal slap tipped over.
