Deku: The Feared Hero (Re-Worked)

Chapter 31

= Mei's Workshop

Izuku let out a yawn as he stood outside one of the rooms given to the support classes' students. It was Hatsume's room obviously and he was going to go see there so he could see about the upgrades and the few things she had made, but as soon as he arrived, his danger sense went off and he stood to the side of the door.

After a few moments, the door blasted open before Izuku put his arm into the black smoke that escaped the room along with the blast. Just then, he caught a familiar pink haired inventor and pulled her out of the smoke. She was covered head to toe in ash, but still looked like an adorable inventor. Mei then looked up at Izuku.

Mei: "Oh, hey Deku!" she said enthusiastically.

Izuku: "Hey, how's it going?" he asked as he pulled Mei into a hug.

Mei: "Well I just put the finishing touches on the chest plate." she said.

Izuku: "Then what exploded?" he asked, looking back into the room as the smoke began clearing, the sound of fans activating.

Mei: "I was making something for that electric kid in your class." she said.

Izuku: "Kaminari?" he asked as he walked into the now cleared room, Mei following behind.

Mei: "Whatever his name is." she said.

Izuku then looked around the room, parts of it were covered in ash and the pile of failed 'babies' were still in the same spot as before. He also could see where the recent fail was. It looked a lot like Kaminari's devise from before, but obviously destroyed and covered in ash. Izuku then looked at it for a moment.

Izuku: "A-Anyway," he said with a shake of his head, "Where's the chest piece?" he asked.

Hatsume: "Oh, yeah," she said before she lifted up her shirt, showing the armor plate that was under her tank-top. The chest-piece seemed to be shaped to her body shape. "I was using it for protection against the explosions." she said before pressing a button on its side, "It was also a good way to test it out, and my baby is working perfectly!" she said as the piece released from her with a small output of steam before reverting to its original shape before falling to the ground with a small thud.

Izuku then covered his face, looking away from Hatsume as a blush formed on his face before Mei pulled her shirt back down.

Mei: "It's really light weight and has thin wiring to not hinder movement, it's also tight fitting and can now detect more problem relating to the usual and a few of the drastic quirk issues." she explained enthusiastically as she picked the gadget off the ground, "This baby is top notch, and is probably my favorite, despite me loving all my babies equally." she said, giving the gadget a hug.

Izuku then cleared his throat before his blush died down.

Izuku: "S-So, you want me to test it?" he asked, holding out his hand.

Mei: "Oh yeah," she said before giving Izuku the gadget, "Hurry up and out it on." she said, heading over to a laptop and pulling up the GUI for the technical systems, a field that Izuku was only slightly adept in. Mei the whipped around, waiting in anticipation before seeming to stop in her tracks for a moment, watching as Izuku removed his shirt.

Izuku was extremely toned, his muscles were large and extremely defined, but that's not what caught Mei's attention. Izuku's body was also covered in markings and scars that looked a lot like electricity was run through his body almost, along with what looked like bite marks, but she didn't really care about those.

Izuku then pulled the chest-piece over his head before pressing the same button Mei did, the gadget then tightened up and fitted around his body.

Izuku: "Wow, this is really amazing." he said, admiring the gear and, "It feels really comfy too... Mei?" he said, noticing Mei looking somewhat dazed before she snapped back to reality.
