2.Wish to take him with me

" Lan Zhan". He quietly cried out, still pushed up against the the wall. They all looked at him, then at Lan Zhan with wide eyes. They hadn't expected that he would say his name instead of Jiang Cheng or Yanli, his siblings but he had said Land Zhan's. Sur they were close before but they didn't know that they close enough for Wei Ying to call the younger jade brother first when feeling scared. Hearing his name, Lan Zhan didn't pay any attention to anyone present and went to Wei Ying, kneeling down to be on the same level as him.

Seeing that he was visibly having a nightmare as his eyes were closed tightly. However, the moment that Lan Zhan touched Wei Ying arm, he seemed to have instantly calmed down." L-Lan Zhan". He stuttered out." Wei Ying, i'm here". He said as he took his hand into his. Wei Ying slowly calmed down, relaxing a little in Lan Zhan's hold. For a brief moment, he seemed to have woken up, as he wrapped his arms around Lan Zhan in tight hug, making the latter take him in his arms, stand up and carry him to the bed. He sat down on the bed, noticing that he had fallen asleep once again. Meanwhile, Xichen, Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli had left the room long ago, not wanting to bother the two, wich Wangji had only noticed now that they had gone out of the room. Not minding that fact, he decided to lay down next to Wei Ying, in case something else happened.

After a couple of hours, Lan Zhan woke up, realizing that he had fallen asleep. He got up, getting ready to leave the room when he heard some shuffling around from behind. He turned around to see Wei Ying sitting up in the bed." Wei Ying". He said as he walked up to him, sitting down on the bed next to him." Lan Zhan". He said, fondness visible in his eyes as he looked at him." How do you feel?". He asked." I- i don't know, it just- it feels weird to be back". He said. Lan Zhan looked at him, concerned about the younger." Where were you?". He asked, helping Wei Ying sit more comfortably." The Wen's took me, th-they". He wasn't able to complete his sentence before Lan Zhan hugged him, wich slightly startled him considering the fact the older didn't like skin ship so him touching, especially hugging others was unusual.

Nevertheless, he hugged him back, feeling great comfort in being in Lan Zhan's arms." You don't have to say now". He said as he looked at him, Wei Ying doing the same. They both couldn't take there eyes off each other, it had been so long since they had last seen each other, and even if they had yet to admit it to each other, they cared a lot about each other, and they knew that." Lan Zhan, is everyone sag'fe now?". Asked the youth as he looked at the older, who only nodded in reply." Me too?". He asked once again asked." Yes, with me Wei Ying will always be safe". He replied as he looked at the other with love visible in his eyes, the other looking at him with a lot of fondness. At the same time, Lan Zhan was thinking about the fact that Wei Ying clearly looked mentally unstable at the moment, and knowing the Wen's, was also very likely to not be in a good physical state either. He was thinking of how he could help him as, if the younger doesn't become better, there was a high chance that the young boy would suffer from qi devastation.

So once he noticed that the younger had fallen asleep again, he went out of the room in search of his older brother. He spotted him not to far from the room." xiongzhang, i... I want to take Wei Ying with me to cloud recesses". He said. Lan Xichen was honestly not surprised about what his little brother just said, he had been expecting it even." It is fine by me, but may i know the reason?". He asked." I'm worried about him, something isn't right and i want to help him". He answered honesty." I see, i also think the same thing, and it looks like Wei Ying feels most comfortable with you". He answered.

Lan Zhan slightly nodded and then went back to the room. As he entered, he saw Wei Ying sitting up, rubbing his eyes as he had woken up." Lan Zhan". He said with so much fondness." Wei Ying, would you like to go to cloud recesses with me?". He asked straight up, determined for Wei Ying to accept." Uhm actually... I-i don't want to bother you, I'm ok". He said, obviously lying, wich Lan Zhan was ofcourse able to see." Wei Ying is not fine". He simply said, obviously not impressed by the lie." Wei Ying is coming to cloud recesses". He concluded, not letting Wei Ying have a say in the matter.
