Chapter 19 - The visit

Home Sweet Home at last

I put my luggage down on my bed and lay next to it. I already felt relief to be home from such a big time away. I stare at the roof feeling my eyes slowly shut. I try and keep awake but end up falling asleep. I didn't get much sleep on the plane and which made me feel exhausted with the taxi ride home. I was so excited to get home which made me stay awake. 

I woke up with blankets all around me. My luggage was down the side of my bed. I heard Eamon in the kitchen sounding like a clumsy dickhead in the kitchen. He is probably trying to make some food but he doesn't know what the fuck he is doing. I looked over to see the time. It was 10:46 am. I had an amazing sleep which is what I have needed for some time now. I got up and went downstairs to see that I was right, Eamon was trying to make something. I laughed at seeing him try which caught his attention over to me. 

"Sorry if I woke you, I dropped the pans by accident," He said. 

"That's ok, What are you trying to make anyway?" I asked. 

"I was going to make some bacon and eggs but I gave up and just ordered it off of Uber Eats because it's easier" He laughed to himself in failure. 

I laughed with him and made my way over to the kettle and made me some coffee. I sat on the counter impatiently waiting for the kettle to boil. It had only been a couple of seconds and I was bored and decided to scroll through Instagram.  Scrolling through fan pages of me saying how excited they are for the black phone to come out. I smiled slightly. I came across Mason's story to see that he was flying home. 

My coffee finally was done after what felt like an eternity.  I made my way over and sat in the living room looking out of the big bay windows that were right in front of me. It was raining at the moment which meant it wasn't that bright outside. I admire the rain and has always been something that comforts me along with storms. The storm sounds and watching it seems to be one of the only things that make me not bored and something that I wouldn't get bored of.
