Billy had lost everything, his mom who arguably didn't want him, his dad who rotted in prison. All of his roots were gone, until he met Rosa and Victor, Freddy and his real family. He had everything, a family. Sure he didn't have any friends, if Superman could even count. He couldn't bare to lose a thing more. So when he met a certain fluffy haired girl, he made sure. Freddy had always complained Billy was overprotective, but with her- it was on another level. Especially after they had started dating. Y/n had a lot of secrets, and thing's she wouldn't talk about- It scared Billy more than anything. Because if one of those secrets were dangerous even a single one- that could take her away from him- he needed to know it.

So it began. He walked her to every class, she thought it was nice. Then Billy waited outside of her every class. Again, Y/n didn't mind at first. Until today. Y/n walked out of chemistry, only to run into a chest. "Aw, did you already lose your eyesight?" She wiped her eyes, "I don't think so.." She hummed, "We haven't started any experiments yet." Y/n shrugged, "So what are you actually doing then?" "That's a good question." They smiled together as they walked through the halls. The bell rang, she quickly covered her ears. His head snapped over to her, "What's wrong?" "It's just louder than usual." She looked at the window, the sun shined through its glass onto the hall floor. "Are you sure?" Billy watched her eyes unfocus, "I'm fine."

He gave her a look, one she ignored. Until Brett walked past them, an L on his forehead. Billy cupped her waist lightly to usher her faster down the hall. "Billy- just ignore them. They didn't even say anything this time." They stepped down the school doors. "Yeah whatever- they keep picking on Freddy and staring you down like some exhibit. It's gross." He walked her to her moped, which was currently chained up against some pole. He crossed his arms, "Ann is always with him now- I mean she beat their asses last time. Oh wait- maybe she should teach Freddy some moves." She stepped on the bike. "Need a ride, pretty boy?" She asked, Billy blushed. "Sure- but you're wearing the helmet this time." Y/n shook her head, "I got a thick skull, besides I don't want your face getting hurt."

Billy stepped on the bike with her, clipping the helmet on his head with a sigh. "See? It looks great on you." she fixed his hair, letting his face brighten as she did so. "Hold on, passenger." She smiled, before revving up the engine and pulling out of the school. Billy quickly grabbed her waist to steady himself, stopping himself from grabbing something he didn't mean to. They turn at the street, hitting a red light. As she whistled he spoke up, "Maybe we should stop by your place?" He felt her body tense under his hands. "Why? You've got a whole ass lair." She just wished the light would change a second faster. "Yeah but everyone else is always there." "What happened to all or none?" "Yeah- all of them need to have their own time while none of them see us and make that stupid joke." She laughed, making Billy let out a smile.

"It's pretty funny, I'm not even going to lie." The light turned green, as she turned to his house, which was currently under construction. He clips off the helmet, "See now I've got hat hair." She smiled and tried to fix it again, their faces leaned in closer, until a voice interrupted them. "Hey if you would stop grooming that poor girl and help us inside?!" Freddy groaned, opening the door. Y/n erupted in laughter yet again, as Billy glared at his brother. "Screw you dude!" He shouted. Y/n had known about his alter ego for a few weeks now. She knew it wasn't fair he didn't know a lick about her, but she couldn't help it. It was easy not telling him, too easy. As she finished laughing he put the helmet back around her bike basket. "You wanna come in for a quick game? I think Rosa is home."

Y/n smiles at him, gazing at the sun behind the house. "You want a rematch? Sure." She locked her moped and stepped off with him in the house. "Y/n! I thought I heard your bike." Rosa turned from her painting job on the side, "Are you staying for dinner?" Billy had a look of desperation, scared she'd run away the moment Rosa asked. "No, I've got a piano thing later. Thanks for the offer, though." She nods, "Anytime. Have fun you two." Billy led her to the closet where they continued on into the gaming room. Why hadn't Y/n accepted? She had been lying about her plans for weeks, she either had piano lessons or work. Work at a job that she was extremely vague about.
