S04:E03

(A/n: this probably won't make sense right now but it'll make more sense as you begin to read, and I decided to put this author's note at the start because author's notes in the middle of the text is sorta annoying. I've heard that Insane Clown Posse has been canceled, but I'm not sure what for. If they've done anything offensive/bad then I do not support their actions AT ALL. Boogie Woogie Wu is simply Rachel's entrance song/song she likes, which influences her nickname. That's all, hope you enjoy the rest of this chapter.)

•~3rd person P.O.V~•

The All Valley was once something Rachel looked forward to. She used to be excited to stand beside Daniel LaRusso, to have him and her Dad cheer her on. But now, as she took in a deep breath while she stood in the darkened entrance of the All Valley arena, she wasn't so sure.

"Welcome, to the 51st annual All Valley Under-18 Karate Tournament. It's karate time!" Still, Rachel stood in the darkened hallway, her "grand entrance" always started this way. Just with different names of wherever she was competing. The sound of Boogie Woogie Wu by Insane Clown Posse slowly started to play, the volume increasing which made the previously clapping crowd to fall silent. Except for Rachel's fans, who sat in reserved seats to the left of the All Valley entrance. They all knew who was soon to appear. "Do you guys hear that?" Daryl asked with a false sense of surprise. "You know her, you love her, it's Rachel "The Boogeyman" Lawrence!" Daryl called, as Rachel stepped out of the fog from the fog machine. Rachel soon learned to get used to her fan's screams, she loved her fans but god they cheered loud.

Apparently, Rachel's fan base loved her resting bitch face. They found it "hot" or that's what Beatrice had told her, as well as some very bold fans of hers, so that's the face Beatrice told her to do when she walked into the All Valley arena. Rachel was instructed to stand between Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang. Two bodyguards by her side, to keep fans or anyone that knew her before she was "The Boogeyman" away from her, while Beatrice sat in a seat right in front of Rachel. A small, evil, smirk crawled across Beatrice's wrinkled face as she stared at Rachel she knew there would be a check in her hands once again.

Beatrice told Rachel that if she even looked at her Dad, Miguel, or even Daniel that someone would get hurt. It scared Rachel because she said someone, which meant she was contemplating hitting Elaine or Kennedy. Her eyes stuck forward, but she heard Daniel whispering her name. Garrett, who always came with Rachel to tournaments, told him that she wasn't allowed to speak to him but it was still hard to keep herself from speaking to him. Her thoughts wandered and kept acknowledging her of the fact that her Dad wasn't too far from her. That Miguel, the boy that she loved, wasn't too far away either.

Soon after that, Daryl announced that the skills competition would begin. Breaking wooden boards was the least of Rachel's worries, that was the easy part. Rachel wasn't sure how she'd gotten more points than the dojo's, who had more people to gain more points, but she did. She was currently placed in first, which meant the pressure to stay there was higher than ever. When Rachel looked around, she saw that Robby had joined Cobra Kai, despite her warning, and in the process taught all of Cobra Kai most of Miyagi Do's moves. You'd think that Rachel would be worried, but she wasn't. She knew more of Cobra Kai's moves and tricks, more than most of the students did, and she knew more Miyagi Do moves than Robby did. Many people had seen Rachel fight, which meant that they knew what to suspect, which also meant that some contestants forfeited. This led to Rachel easily advancing to the quarterfinals.

Rachel watched as Tory and a girl from Eagle Fang fight, and she started to wonder who the girl was. She felt like she'd seen the girl before, but she wasn't sure. Rachel's eyes began to wonder, her eyes first stopping on Hawk. He no longer had his tall red mohawk, but instead, his head was shaved. Most importantly, was the way Rachel recognized his eyes and his demeanor, it reminded her of a boy Rachel once knew. Eli Moskowitz. It made Rachel wonder what had happened while she was gone to make him revert to his ways. Rachel was drawn from her thoughts as she heard someone clear their throat, her eyes met with the girl from Eagle Fang.
