Cole x Reader

Love begins

3th person

Tuesday 10 am, the hospital was awake except two people on the second floor, y/n and Cole were still sleeping in the hospital bed they had fallen asleep in. Everything was peaceful, tho the two did not know that there were several eyes looking at them when they peacefully slept. 

y/n's pov

I slowly woke up when I felt Cole nudge me so I opened my eyes to see Cole looking at the doorway. 
I followed his sight and saw Kai, Jay, Zane, Lloyd and Nya... AND MY MOM WHY IS SHE HERE!?

"Mom?! Why are you here?" I asked her

"Darling you don't think the school would call me if my own daughter would get a knife cut in her stomach that is so serious that she has to go to the hospital?!" She said? screamed? asked? Anyways she seemed worried.. 
"And I'm sorry I wasn't able to come earlier, you know I had a night shift, and you know I can't leave it because..." she didn't want to finish the sentence and I understand why... 
"But I see you had some company" She said smirking and I blushed but remembered what happened a few years ago. 

Flashback

"DAD I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" I screamed as my own father beat the shit out of me. 

"THEN START BEING MORE GREATFUL!" he screamed back at me. 

"D/N STOP IT SHE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG" my mom shouted back at him. But he didn't stop... He just continued I don't remember much more, I think I passed out but I woke up when I heard sirens. 

"YOU CALLED THE COPS ON ME, YOU SLUT?!" my dad yelled at my mom, he was about to hit her but the police came in and stopped him before he was able to hit her.

And since almost everything belonged to my father me and  my mother had very little money so we moved into a really REALLY small apartment.

"I'm sorry honey but this is all we can afford" my mom said, I didn't say anything for a very long time since I was scared, I was scared that she would do the same thing dad did to me if I said the wrong thing. It took me about three months to recover. 

End of flashback

"...I know mom" I whispered. Then I remembered... MY FATHER WILL BE LET OUT OF PRISON IN 2 WEEKS. 
"Please don't let him get to me again" I said as my eyes got teary. 

"What? Who?" Cole asked. 

"Is it Skylor?" Jay asked

"Jay Skylor isn't a he him" Kai said a bit annoyed. 

"Yes because of that I'm assuming it's someone else" Zane said. 

"y/n please tell us, we are your friends" Nya said

"You can trust us! I promise" Lloyd said. 

"I won't say anything if you aren't okay with it, I promise you that" my mom said. 

"I.. uhm... a-a few years ago... uhm... my father got in prison and uh he will be out in about 2 weeks..."

"Isn't that good..?"

"... My father abused me" I said, the room was totally silent until
"I'm sorry.." Cole said and hugged me tighter. I don't know why but I started crying, maybe it's because I haven't gotten a hug in so long, I have always told my mom that it reminds me of dad. 

"We will go... You two can have some alone time" Lloyd said and they all left me and Cole alone.

"Shhh, It's okay, you're safe. No one is gonna hurt you as long as I am here." Cole said and rubbed my back. 

"I love you" I said. I could almost feel him smiling. 

"I love you too. And I know we just met yesterday but when you have healed a bit would you maybe want to go on a date?" He asked and I smiled. 

"Of course..." I said and drifted into a sleep full of nightmares. 

The nightmare was not only with my dad but people dying because of me, me falling off a roof but surviving, my dad chasing me while hes trying to kill me but failed. When I woke up, I was scared but I was able to stay calm cause I felt safe, I felt so safe in Cole's arms, he made me feel safe, I love him so much right now. 

I looked up to him to see him watching me. 

"Had a good sleep?" he asked and I just stared at him. 

"Nightmares.." I said. 

"Well you are safe with me here.." Cole said. 

"I know, I also feel safe" I said and snuggled up to him, I could hear his heart beat faster and I smiled.

Sorry for not posting for so long, I had my birthday about 2 days ago (3th april) and my family also have their birthdays around this time.
