"I'm on my way," I shouted on the phone and hung up. I'm not sure whether going out is a great idea or not but now I have no choice I already said I was on my way.

I let go of my Queen Size bed and went straight into the shower. It took me another thirty minutes to get ready. I am lazy that's all I can say.

It is five am and I feel like killing Amanda.

Amanda has been my best friend for almost four years. Tall, beautiful and slim. Every girl wants to be like her.

I made my breakfast and rolled it in a foil paper.

I went outside and locked the door. After taking a few steps I looked back at my house. It is stunning and perfect to live in. I had just purchased it 2 months ago when I shifted to New York. It was built in 1960's I guess I mean that's what the seller told me. I love my place. There are three useless big rooms and four toilets. I don't know what for but never mind. My room was colored blue, royal blue actually with Queen-size bed and two lamps on both the sides. Well I kind of wanted my room to be purple or green but I love blue and it suits my mood.

The other rooms are of green and purple colour.

I know nothing of this place. No idea what street I am on. I have never been to New York before. The grass outside my house was perfect and smelled good too. The wind was wafting and it was chilly outside so I took an overcoat with me before hand, I then held my sandwich in my hand and looked for a taxi.

But what when I got my taxi? Then what am I going to say to the driver? "Take me to Amanda's place?" that sounds stupid.

I texted Amanda right away - Give me your address.

Then she replied - YOU ARE STILL HOME??? I'm Gonna kill you.

And after 5 more lectured messages she gave me her address.

It was hard to find a taxi this morning. They were all moving in a single line two minutes ago but now when I actually need one, I cannot see a single taxi. I looked around and still no sign of it.

After waiting for long i started getting frustrated. I don't even know where the bus stand or an auto stand was? I put my phone into my white coat's pocket. This is not a normal coat. This is the coat which Amanda bought me when I first got here. She believes that whenever I will wear it things will start falling in my favor. Nothing good has happened yet.

The thing about Amanda is that she believes a lot. She believes in making her way out in every situation. She believes in being positive. She believes in finding happiness. She believes in believing.

Just around the corner I saw a yellow car taking a turn. My excitement was on cloud nine. I waved towards it to get its attention and I think I got his attention because he started making his way towards me. The taxi halted and splashed the dirty brown muddy water all over my coat.

My white coat. Amanda's magic white coat.

"ARE YOU NUTS?" I shouted.

"I'm sorry ma'am," The driver said. He was old. Around 55 or so, so I didn't say much and got in.

But there was already someone sitting on the seat. He must have gotten in from the other door.

"Sorry?" I said in confusion looking at his way-too-calmed face.

"Yeah it's okay," He said to me and then turned to the driver and said "Reebok building."

"Excuse me?" I said and turned towards him. I would not say I was panicking but my heart was racing. I was in a taxi with some total random guy and he is not even uncomfortable.
