Wesley and I ran up onto the deck to see Madam Krow looking down to see an island.

"We're going to have to stop the ship!" Shelby said. "I can't think of a way to steer around it." I looked over to the island. It was covered in forest and had a sandy beach. It looked unoccupied except for...

"MOM!" I screamed, pointing over to see my mother and siblings standing or sitting in the sand. "DROP ANCHOR THAT'S MY MOTHER!" I shouted. "MOMMY!" I waved my hands in the air. "MOM, IT'S ME!" Mom looked up and went white when she saw me.

"Merideth!" she shouted, Mariska looked up from playing with her dog and shook her head as Madam Krow dropped anchor. I jumped down, running to my mother and hugging her.

"Mom!" I sighed into her neck, smiling. "I missed you so much, what happened? Come on!" I dragged her to the black wing. "Xavier, get Daddy so we can get outta -"

"Merideth, get back!" Xavier shouted, pushing me away from Mom. "It's a -" Suddenly I was grabbed and had a blade at my throat.

"Hello, Merideth." Uncle Daniel said into my ear. I gasped.

"Uncle Daniel!" I smiled at him as Wesley growled, jumping down from the ship and drawing his sword.

"Let go of her!" Wesley shouted. Daniel chuckled and pressed me closer as I saw my father in the corner of my eye. He looked beaten down, with a black eye and busted lip.

"DADDY!" I shouted, earning a smack from one of my former crew mates.

"Shut up!" he shouted as Daniel finally stopped laughing.

"Carter! I'm surprised you're still around. Now..." he pressed the knife closer to my throat. "Why would I release her?"

"Because she has nothing you want! Just take the necklace and go!" Wesley shouted. I looked to him.

"What?" I shouted. "You told me to keep it!" I screamed at him.

"Trust me, just give him the necklace and you can go!" Wesley shouted.

"Correction..." Daniel looked to me. "Merideth, have you been swimming at all with the necklace on?" he asked. I blinked, about to tell him that I had, once, when I tried to prove Wesley wrong.

"No, she hasn't!" Wesley shouted. I glared at him.

"Shut up. I have." I stated. Daniel went wide eyed and then smirked.

"Then she's not going anywhere." Wesley moved to charge and Daniel snapped his fingers. "Get him!" the goon that hit me when after Wesley and knocked him out. I gasped, eyes wide with terror.

"WESLEY!" I screamed, looking to my parents as I was drawn back onto the deck of the Wisteria. My old friends were shouting at Daniel to let me go.

"SHUT UP!" he shouted. "Kyle, take these riff raff and throw them with the Hudson clan." Daniel ordered, belting me in the back of the head.

Everything went black.

------------------------------------------------------(Wesley POV)

I came around on the ship deck and looked around. It was long past afternoon, and twilight was beginning to show. I looked around for the redhead.

"Hudson?" I asked, standing and getting down from the ship, looking around the sandy coast. "Hudson!?"

"She's not here." Blade told me, eyes bloodshot, one of them bruised. I turned, seeing the sun beginning to dip below the horizon.

"What do you mean, she's not here?" I demanded, looking for Issacs' ship.

"Daniel got her while you were knocked out. They threw me and her friends overboard after we tried to save her. She's on the Wisteria, Carter. He's got her and the necklace." I swore under my breath.

"No!" I paced. "He's going to kill her!"

"You don't know that." Blade told me, his dirty blonde hair brushing my shoulder in its length. "He's her Godfather." I glared.

"That necklace is all he wants." I growled as Madam Krow and the rest of the Black Wing brought Merideth's family aboard. I looked to the Captain. "Blade is with me." I said. Madam Krow nodded and smiled.

"Very well. But it's the brig with him." she chuckled. "And...there's a lot of laundry for you to do. It'll keep you from killing anyone while you think of a plan." her face went stern. "If Issacs does indeed plan on killing her, we need to act fast. But for all we know, we could be too late." I bit my tongue, getting back on the ship. "Raise anchor!" Madam Krow demanded. I had never seen her this angry, not even when we were found in Ireland. I felt a tug on my pant leg and saw a little girl, a smaller image of Hudson looking up at me, with those same sea coloured eyes.

"Mister, is Merdef gonna be ok?" she asked, eyes welled with tears. My heart broke for the kid and I lifted her up.

"On my word. Your sister will set foot on this ship again...alive." I promised.

"She'd better." The older boy said, glaring at me. "Because my father's on that ship as well. He can't protect Merideth now that he's on Daniel's shitlist as well." I nodded.

"We'll get them both." I smirked. "We still have a tracker on their ship." I set the little Merideth down and strode to Hudson's room, sitting on her bed. I hoped we'd get to her in time.

"You really do love her, don't you?" I looked up, ready to tell Jeff to fuck right off, instead seeing the woman Merideth called Mama. I scoffed.

"Please." I said. "I don't love her. I just know I'll be framed for her murder." I stood, looking to the porthole." her mother smiled.

"Wesley, I know you." she walked over beside me and put a hand on my arm. "I know when you have it for someone, and I saw it in the way you drew your sword. You weren't careful, or hesitant as you normally were. You would have killed Daniel for her." I scoffed.

"Please, he's a cold blooded killer, I'd have killed him for existing...a long time ago." Gen touched my shoulder.

"I know. But you had more incentive." she gave the smile I knew for ages and stepped back. "I know you mean for her to trust you...but trust is a two way street, Scorpion." I scoffed.

"This isn't me being a Scorpio." I snapped. "It's me trying to save myself." Gen laughed.

"Whatever you say, Wesley." Gen backed away. "I'll leave you to your thoughts. Come see me if you come up with a plan."
