Once again, Lee Kiyoung found himself buried in piles of paperwork in his office. It seemed like every day there was a new report to file or a new request to process. As he let out a long, weary sigh, he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," he called out, expecting it to be one of his fellow guild members with yet another task to add to his already overflowing to-do list. But to his surprise, it was Kim Hyunsung, the guildmaster himself, holding a steaming cup of coffee in his hands.

As soon as Kiyoung called for him to come in, Hyunsung pushed the door open and walked towards his desk, holding out the coffee for him. "I brought you some coffee, Kiyoung-ssi. I thought you might need it," he said, his smile never faltering.

'Dont smile so innocently,bastard.'

Kiyoung was a bit touched by the gesture, but also annoyed that Hyunsung had once again left him to deal with all the paperwork. He forced a smile and replied, "Thanks, Hyunsung-ssi. I appreciate it"

'I am too tired and annoyed to engage in a small talk or even smile for him.'

Kiyoung wished that for once,Kim Hyunsung would take initiative and help with some of the work.

But he didn't say anything, choosing to hold in his frustration and put on a neutral face.

'Should I make him realize it on his own?'

Hyunsung seemed to pick up on the tension, and his expression grew nervous.

Kim Hyunsung  noticed Lee Kiyoung's dead eyes and heard his short reply. He had hoped that his charming smile and the fresh coffee would cheer Kiyoung up, but it seemed like it wasn't enough.

Kiyoung chugged down the remaining cold coffee in his mug and held out his hand without a word. Hyunsung was taken aback for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure and handed the fresh brewed coffee to Kiyoung.

"Hmn, yeah. Thank you for the coffee Hyunsung-ssi" Kiyoung finally replied, taking the cup from him with a small smile.

Hyunsung stopped talking, sensing that Kiyoung was not in the mood for conversation. He could tell that Kiyoung was exhausted and in need of some rest. He didn't want to make things worse by talking too much, so he simply nodded and stepped back.

Kim Hyunsung looked at Lee Kiyoung with concern etched on his face. He had never received such a cold reply from Kiyoung before, and it sent a shiver down his spine. Normally, Kiyoung would express some kind of emotion, even if it was just a smile or a nod of thanks. But this time, his passive reaction left Hyunsung feeling uneasy.

As he watched Kiyoung chug down the cold coffee in his mug, Hyunsung's mind raced with worry

"Kiyoung-ssi, you must be tired. You've been working hard these days," he said with concern in his voice.

'And whose fault do you think it is?'

Kiyoung looked up at him from his desk and watched him silently, his expression tired and worn out.

'Kiyoung is really angry.' Hyunsung started to sweat.

Kim Hyunsung's face started to look troubled as he noticed the anger in Lee Kiyoung's expression. He took a step closer to Kiyoung.

As the tension in the room grew, Kim Hyunsung acted instinctively, placing his hand on Lee Kiyoung's chest. It was a gesture of concern and support, showing that he was there for him and willing to help in any way possible.

Kiyoung was taken aback by the sudden touch, but he could feel the warmth of mana behind it.

Kim Hyunsung's gesture of placing his hand on Lee Kiyoung's chest had caught the attention of the people around them. With his outer cape removed, he was now the center of attention. People stared at them with mouths agape and hands over their mouths, wondering what was going on.
