Today was the day we were moving to Australia.
I was pretty excited, and I could tell mom and Leo were too, by the way they were jumping around.
My family's the weirdest, I tell you.
I was absolutely thrilled about meeting my dad after so many years!
I was lost in my own thoughts, thinking about life in Australia, that I could actually make other friends now; when I was rudely interrupted by MOM.
She started scolding me for being late "as usual" PFFFT MOMS RIGHT?!
So, after about 40-45 minutes, we were ready and all set for our flight to Australia WOOHOO
We got in the aeroplane and after a huge fight with Leo, I finally got the window seat!
I always win. What can I say? I'm just the best.
The time passed quicker than expected actually.
It was probably because I spent the entire time sleeping. One of my talents.
"We're here. Oh, my god, we're here! WE ARE IN AUSTRALIA!" Said Leo enthusiastically.
"Shut up." I was really tired, okay?!
I don't know why I was tired... I literally spent an entire day sleeping and listening to music occasionally if I woke up when Leo wanted to argue with me.
"Why do you want the window seat when you don't even look out?!" She would ask.
My reply would be the same as always, "Why would I stare at nothing else but clouds?"
That would somehow shut her up.
But here we were... In Australia.
We had gotten out and were waiting for Adam just when we saw a brown - haired man waving towards us. It was him.
He was holding a sign that said, "Looking for my wife-to-be" which was the stupidest thing ever but mom found it "cute".
Like I said, she was affectionate... you know, lovey-dovey.
So she went and hugged him after which they started making out. EW.
This was really awkward.
"God, I hate PDA!" I told Leo and we just rushed to the car then.
After 26 minutes of boredom, we finally reached home. It was huge.
After selecting our rooms, Adam told us it'd be nice to go and meet the neighbours so we agreed and took cupcakes as well.
It was so much fun, really.
Note the sarcasm.
Well, this was the last house. YES! It's over!
We rang the bell and waited until a sweet-looking lady opened then door and let us in.
All the four of us chatted a little but with the lady. She was actually a really genuine woman.
She later told us about her son who apparently was in the same year as us and that he would be coming home after some time.
34 minutes passed. Yes, I keep note of time.
We were still chatting and bored.. when the bell rang.
The lady went and opened the door and in came with her, a tall, dark-haired boy. Damn, he looked hot.
She introduced us and he smiled and said, "Hi, I'm Calum Hood. Nice to meet you."
He was seriously so good-looking, ugh.
