When his siblings were asleep and his mom and dad were outdoing something for tomorrow. Trunks went through his mom's lab and read up on the information they had acquired about Shenron over the years. What he noticed were all the wishes they had ever made always had a catch. They were sometimes obvious and were usually stated in the rules, however, there had been times when the catch wasn't upfront.
Trunks began to get worried and he sneaked off to Kami's lookout to ask a few questions. When trunks arrived he asked Dende a few questions. the answers shocked him.
" change someone's personality? Usually, that's a terrible idea, no matter how specific you are the dragon will always exaggerate it. Say you wish someone to be perfect. That person at least is forced to do everything you deem perfect. At worst they are constantly evolving to fulfill the true extent of that type of wish. This is why you wish to be able to make them change, or understand they are like that in the first place, rather than have the person in question change by force. Why do you ask?" dense asked
"Curiosity..... mom's been uh complaining about someone....so just wondering." trunks said
Ah...that makes sense." dense said nodding
" well if you did make a wish, especially on an eclipse which makes the wish in turn more powerful, you would have to wait for an entire year especially on that eclipse to reverse it, or it becomes permanent. " Dende warned
" oh! Thanks." trunks said smiling before he took off Dende waved as he turned to go back to what he was doing.
"Well, shit!" trunks cursed after he landed in his room.
