Valerie was a bright and curious sixteen-year-old girl, who was on the cusp of turning seventeen. She had a few close friends who shared her interests and hobbies, and a nice enough family who loved her. Despite being highly intelligent, Valerie never considered herself a genius, but rather someone who was above average in her abilities. She excelled in school and was never a troublemaker, which made her popular among her peers. Everyone liked her and appreciated her kind and friendly demeanour.

Valerie was a major fan of indoor hobbies. She loved to read, watch movies and TV shows, and spend time on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. She would often get lost in a delightful book, immersing herself in the stories of fictional characters and their struggles. She enjoyed watching TV series on illegal websites, something that she kept a secret from her parents. When she was not reading or watching TV, she was studying for school or trying to learn something new. She was always curious about the world around her, and constantly sought out new knowledge.

When she was about 15, Valerie started watching and reading the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon series. She fell in love with the world that George R. R. Martin had created, and she found herself captivated by the storylines and the characters. She loved how realistic the shows were, even if they did have some elements of fantasy in them. She appreciated how they did not shy away from portraying the harsh realities of life, especially for women. She was struck by how the women in the show had to fight for their basic rights, even when they were royalty. She admired the way that the show's villains were portrayed as complex characters, who were not simply evil, but had complex motivations for their actions.

Valerie was a loyal fan of the show and looked forward to each new episode. She was excited to see how the story would unfold, and she invested a lot of her time and energy into watching and analysing each episode. She was deeply disappointed when she learned that Game of Thrones had already ended, and that she would never get to see how the story concluded.

Sadly, Valerie's story came to an abrupt end one day. It was a day like any other, and she was walking home from the library. She was lost in thought, thinking about the latest book that she had borrowed, and did not notice the car that was hurtling towards her. She tripped and stumbled into the road, and before she knew it, the car had hit her.

And that is how she ended up in a situation like this.

What situation? Oh, staring at whatever that is.

Valerie stood before a tall, imposing figure that was unlike anything she had ever seen before. It did not look like a man, but at the same time, it did not look like anything she could put a name to. It was as if it kept shifting forms, sometimes taking on the appearance of a dragon made human, while at other times, it seemed like it was composed of nothing more than shadows and corpses. Despite its otherworldly appearance, there was something about the creature that felt undeniably human, though Valerie could not quite put her finger on what it was.

As she stood before the mysterious being, she could not help but feel a sense of unease. The creature radiated power and authority, and she could not shake the feeling that she was in the presence of something sacred, something that had the power to both create and destroy.

For what felt like an eternity, the creature simply stared at her, taking in every detail of her being. Valerie tried to keep her composure, but she could not help feeling like a mouse in the presence of a lion. It was not until the creature began to speak that she realized she was in for something far more extraordinary than she could have ever imagined.

My name is Balerion, God of Death and the Underworld," the creature spoke, its voice deep and rumbling. "And I have chosen you."

Valerie's mind raced as she tried to make sense of what was happening. "Balerion? God? Chosen? Chosen for what, I died, right? What could I be chosen for?"
