As filming for the Elvis movie progressed, Austin found himself becoming increasingly protective of Y/n. Perhaps it was the fact that they spent so much time together on set, or maybe it was the chemistry between them that was beginning to spill over into real life. Either way, he couldn't help but feel a strong desire to keep her safe.

It wasn't just on set either. Whenever they went out in public, Austin was always scanning the area for any potential threats or danger. He made sure to walk on the side of the sidewalk closest to the road, and he never let her out of his sight.

Y/n found it endearing, but sometimes it could be a bit overwhelming. She was an independent woman and didn't need a man to protect her. But she also understood where Austin was coming from and appreciated his concern.

One day, while they were out getting lunch between takes, a group of overzealous fans began to approach them. They started taking pictures and trying to get autographs, but soon the situation escalated as they began to crowd Y/n and invade her personal space.

Austin stepped in between them, putting his arm around Y/n and creating a barrier between her and the fans. He calmly but firmly asked them to give them some space, and the fans eventually backed off.

Afterwards, Y/n hugged Austin tightly, feeling grateful for his protective instincts. He had her back, and she knew that no matter what happened, he would always be there to keep her safe.
