I walked around the corner of the alley way to see my best friend, Melody. Her long, black hair covering her face. I playfully whacked her arm, her grey orbs meeting mine. God, I wanted her coloured eyes so bad!

"Hey." She smiled, hugging me lightly as we walked off to class. She left early to get a coffee from Starbucks, usually we walk there together but I didn't feel like one today.

"Hey." I grinned back. We stay in the same dorm, we've been best friends for as long as I can remember. She's always been the one to get all the boys, her black hair and grey eyes interesting them, as well as her 'hard to get' attitude.

Melody and I are complete opposites, I have caramel brown hair with dark brown eyes. She's so pretty and I'm, well, not as beautiful.

As we walk to class, heads turn to look at us as were new here.

Don't get me wrong, I still have had boyfriends and everything, but boys are practically begging for this girl.

We walked over to class and stood in front of the door, waiting for the teacher to let us in when he comes over.

"What actually happened with you and Scott?" I tensed. I had told her a little about me and Scott, my ex, while she was comforting me.

"He cheated on me--" She scoffed. She never liked him and is also very protective, she's like my sister. "With Charley." She rolled her eyes as the words left my mouth. Charley was the girl in our old high school to get around, a lot.

She mumbled something I couldn't quite make out. As soon as I was going to reply, the teacher was opening the door.

We took our seats and Melody, of course, got us seats where Sir couldn't see us talking. Suddenly, a paper aeroplane flew towards us. Melody unfolded it and smirked.

"We're going to the biggest party of the semester tonight" I chuckled lightly, wondering about what on earth could happen tonight.
