  Flora's POV:

I happily sigh as I walk into my dorm and sit on my bed. Classes have just ended, I'm exhausted! Why do classes feel so long? I don't know why, but all I can think about is how tonight's gonna be the best night of my life! Tonight, Me and all my friends are going down the shore to a juice bar for the night! I can't stop thinking about all the fun we're gonna have tonight! Maybe I'll meet some new friends tonight!

Helia's POV:

I sigh in annoyance, my friends are dragging me out tonight so they can hang out with their girlfriends. How annoying.. I shut my dorm door and lay on my bed. I'd rather stay at home, I don't want to go to a party all night..

Time: 7:45pm, location: Roxy's juice bar

Flora walks into the juice bar with her friends. Flora's friends spot their boyfriends across the bar and hurry over to them, dragging flora with them. Helia sits in the corner of the bar by himself. He appears to be sketching in a notebook.

"They won't notice I'm gone that long.." Flora laughs to herself as she approaches Helia and sits next to him. Helia doesn't acknowledge her, so flora decides to start a conversation.

"Hi there! Mind if I see what you're drawing?" Flora asks, trying not to intrude on him.

"I don't know, are you going to make fun of me?" He taunts. Flora feels bad that he's been made fun of in the past.

"Oh, heavens no! I would never make fun of you!" she insists. Helia hesitates for a moment, but then shows her the drawing. It's a sketch of an orchid.

"Oh, I love it! It's absolutely beautiful! You're a wonderful artist! I actually have some watercolor markers, would you like to borrow them?" She reaches into her bag and pulls out a small tin of markers.
"Here! If you like these, I can tell you the store name!" Flora offers the tin to Helia, and he accepts it.

"Thanks.. Why are you being so nice to me?" Helia raises an eyebrow.

Because I think you're a nice person too!" she replies. The two spend the night drawing and sketching in Helia's notebook. Both Flora and Helia's friends realize they've vanished, and start looking for them. Once they spot the two sitting together, they're all shocked to see Helia talking to someone.

"Aw, they're so cute!" Stella squeals. Brandon nods in agreement.

"If anyone can make people feel safe and appreciated, it's flora." Bloom adds. Sky walks over to Helia and Flora.

"Pack it up, you two, we're leaving." Flora and Helia look at each other with surprise. Flora looks sad to leave her new found friend.

"Aw man! Here, how about this...?" Flora writes her phone number on Helia's notebook.

"That's my phone number, talk soon?" Flora asks, looking hopeful. Helia nods and hands Flora back her tin of markers. Flora puts them away as she stands up from her seat.

"Oh, silly me, I never got your name! I'm Flora! What's your name?" she asks.

"Im...Helia.." he mutters.

"Oh, that's a beautiful name! I'll text you later tonight, sounds good?" Helia nods in response to her.

"Wonderful! See you soon!" Flora walks out of the juice bar with her friends as Helia walks out of the bar with his friends.

"You know, I'm grateful you guys dragged me out here.." Helia quietly whispers.

"Why's that?" Sky asks.

"I met this really nice girl, she gave me markers to color in my drawing, and she was just so sweet.." He sighs as he thinks back to how kind Flora was to him.

"We all saw you guys together by the bar. You two would be really cute together." Brandon adds, teasing Helia.

"Leave me alone, Brandon.." Helia groans as they all board the bus to go back to their school, Red Fountain.

The night is quiet. Helia can't stop thinking about Flora. He sighs as he arrives at his dorm. He lays down on his bed and falls asleep almost instantly.
