Grey and dark clouds, are the only things you can see in the sky during that day. It was raining heavily non-stop with a strong wind blowing the roofs of the houses in the town and trails of lightning bolts flashing from the dark clouds down to the mountains. People are nowhere to be seen, only the sound of the cold breeze of the air can be heard around the town. But, on the rocky and slippery pathway to the grassland, there are the people of Ezquiria, crying in silence while walking slowly to the grassland. Hundreds and thousands of them are showing respect and condolence while each of them is carrying lamps and flowers.

The entire Kingdom of Ezquiria is mourning over the dead Queen, Queen Agatha. Her husband, King Eric, set his final goodbyes to his loving wife. Meanwhile, standing there in silence is her daughter, Princess Allura. She seems impassive and silent during the funeral until the coffin of her mother is buried in the ground. Even a single tear was nowhere to be seen in her beautiful hazel eyes. The Kingdom was filled with sadness after the death of their beloved Queen.

Inside the palace, servants are very silent when the King and the Princess arrived from the funeral. The King hurriedly ran upstairs to his room and slammed its door. The Princess was left in the center aisle of the palace where she sees the painting of her mother. She steps closer to the image in front of her and her cheeks started glistening with tears.

She quietly cries in front of the portrait when no one was around. She doesn't want to show her weak side but she couldn't. She only cries out everything to her mother but has never done it to anyone else, even if it is her father. In her room, she sat down next to a small cabinet with books on it. She took one book with a note inside the pages. She opened it and to her surprise, it was from her mother! She knows it's from her mother due to her mother's recognizable handwriting. The note said...

"Dear Daughter, if you are reading this, I'm probably dead already. I knew this day will come. I am prepared because I know, this is my destiny that starting tonight, I will no longer be by your side. It's funny how I know when my time will end. However, the only thing I'm worrying about is you. I know you are an adult now and you can stand on your own. You can make decisions on your own and I'm very proud of you. Even if I'm no longer here, I'm always watching for you and your father. Continue your passion, darling. You may be silent but your eyes speak loud and clear just like a Queen should. And I know you'll be one. I love you endlessly, darling"

Tears started running down her face while smiling. "You never failed to make me smile even after your disappearance" she chuckles as she put the letter back in the book. "I will make you proud, mother. I will be the ruler you wished me to be" she promised herself

Months passed, and the Kingdom of Ezquiria is back to its glory days. The amazing people of Ezquiria are known to be the happiest people in the whole world. They are very hospitable and charitable just like their Queen, Queen Agatha. But, they were all curious about why King Eric haven't made his daughter the New Queen of Ezquiria. It's been months since his wife died. Shouldn't he be making his daughter, Allura, the new ruler?
