Power Rangers Ninja Steel: BrodyxPreston One-Shot

It was an extremely hectic day for the Ninja Steel Rangers. It all started a peaceful day but of course, unfortunately for the rangers, there was never a peaceful day for them.

Preston P.O.V
To say that I was scared was an understatement, I was panicking beyond belief.

During yet another fight with one of Galvanax's monsters, Brody had been poisoned ... POISONED!

The others didn't show any signs of worry or they did but doesn't want to show it.

This was all wrong! Why must it be Brody? It could have been me-I held my head. It could have been me.

"IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME!"

I did not know I was screaming when I felt a firm but gentle hand rest on my shoulder. It was none other than the cowboy gold ranger, Levi Western, Brody's older brother.

Levi P.O.V
We were all hustling up to come up with a plan to save my brother. We can't give them the Ninja Stars. We were all pitching ideas when Preston started yelling which made us all jump out of our skins.

"Presto, what's wrong?" I asked as I placed a hand on his shoulder-nothing. He lied but he wasn't a very good liar.

"Pest, he's gonna be okay. We are doing the best we can to come up with a plan real quick. We are gonna save Brody, okay? Just breathe."

I can see through Preston that he was close to tears. He must be extremely worried about Brody.

Normal P.OV
"Eureka!" Mick let out a cry of joy. "I have an idea." he continued. He filled the other in on his plan to swap the real Power Stars with fake Power Stars.

Everyone agreed and started gathering supplies to put Mick's plan into action, hopefully, it would work.

It was a race against time but of course, the Rangers always pull through in the end.

Brody P.O.V
Thanks to my theme, I feel much better now. Everyone was happy except for the awkward silence between Preston and me.

The others could take a hint and step out for a moment to give Preston and me some space.

Before I open my mouth to say something, Preston starts to burst into tears.

My heart broke into a million pieces when I saw Preston cry. "Presto, what's wrong?" I asked; concern in my voice.

Preston P.O.V
My mind was running in circles, I was crying so hard, tears flooded my eyes. "I was so worried about you! I thought I was going to lose you! Do you have any idea how much you mean to me?!"

I did not realize that I was screaming until I felt the complete silence between Brody and me.

I was at the point of running away in shame when I felt a hand pulling me back- -

It was Brody. "I love you, Preston," he said.

"I always had, ever since the first time we met in the woods."

I was speechless, I did not know how to react but before I knew it - -

"EEEEEEEEEPS!" I heard both Sarah and Hayley squeal at the corner of the base. Calvin and Levi grinned ear to ear. Mick and Redbot were clapping their hands.

With smiles on their faces, the theme left Brody and me alone.

After the theme was gone, Brody leans in and kisses me!

My eyes widened in both shock and surprise. Brody was kissing me! I let my eyes close and kiss him back.
