The Beginning

The day of the twins bday Tenma got the idea of pranking juan, but little did he knoe that he was messing with a brainless, bitchless, fatherless, and most importantly, nameless mmm- u thought i was gon say monster but he's atually a mf so nameless  fother mucker

It was the seventh of April of 1995; Nina and Johan's birthday.

A few days prior to that Tenma decided to throw a birthday party for Nina, because, as we know, someone reaaally friendly, sane and totally not her brother, killed the Fortnites, her adoptive family. So the ex-doctor set everything up and even picked her up at the station: she had 1 bag too because since she was in Easter holidays she was going to stay there for a couple of days. 

"Happy birthday Nina!"

"Thanks Tenma, it's nice to see you again!" 

After talking for a while they,walked through the streets of Dusseldorf while Tenma was carrying her 2 bags for her, one of which was very heavy. When they arrived they left the bags in the living room and went to the kitchenAs they were carefully cutting the cake, Tenma said: "Nina, btw what are you carrying in that one big bag?"

"Uh, wdym i only brought one bag here" Nina replied tilting her head slightly and lifting an eyebrow

"But there were two bags with your name so i picked up both of them"

"Wellll that's a pr-"

*SDUUWWWWNNNNNNNNNNN*

"OH MY GOD WHY DID THE LIGHTS GO OUT" Nina shouted and accidentally grabbed the cake in front of her cuz it was dark so she didn't see the counter in front of her and idk she just grabbed it 

"Don't worry stay there, i'll light a candle" Tenma said

Then suddenly another person's very familiar voice from the living room said: "No need to,  " 

And silent steps approached menacingly Tenma and Nina who sadly were paralized in their shoes, also they couldn't even move an inch

And the oH sOOOoo mysterious voice said again: 
"I've locked all the doors, windows and also i've cut the telephones cable. In other words yall cant fucking escape heh"

"Well there's one thing you forgot to close tho" Nina said

"And what might that be"

"YOUR GODDAMN MOUTH STUPID ASS BITCH NOW TURN ON THE LIGHTS OR IMMA BECOME A SINGLE CHILD"

"Dayum ok, calm down satANNA, u didn't even wish me happy birthday, that makes me sad yk" 

"TF U DIDN'T TOO WHAT U ON?"

Then, with a sob juan turned on the lights so Tenma and Nina could see that his ugle ahh face and that his hair was an absolute mess

The first thing Nina did upon seeing her brother was to throw the piece of cake she was holding on his face, moreover as she walked girlbossly toward him she inquiered:

"How the hell did you even get here?!?!No one even asked you to come here. Now get out or i'll give you plastic surgery with a cakewondo kick on you ugly face, gawd also wtf happened to your hair? It looks like the hay a farmer forgot to pick up and left it to rot somewhere."

As this happened, Tenma  grabbed the popcorn and continued watching the scene unfold before him. Then after a big sigh Juan rebutted:

"First of all" he began, closing his eyes and lifting one finger up to get pieces of the cake and eat them "y'all didn't even notice that i was inside one of the bags." And that line pulled an audible gasp out of shock from his only two listeners."Second of all, u got the same face as me how tf am i ugly, plus i could pull more bitches than u if i tried"

"But u got that natural B-Repellent right? No wonder nobody doesn't fucking want you, mom included ofc. "

"This argument is getting nowhere, and now since ive been in a bag half as big as me for 4 hours" juan continued "Could u tell me where is the bathroom? i need to p-p-p-p..."

"P what? Partake in illicit affairs in Tenma's bathroom? Put yo goofyness up yo ass? Pray that this is your last bday? Or yoru'e gonna p-" 

"all of the above."

And at this moment Tenma got the biggest idea ever. So he actually let johan go to the bathroom, just because he needed to discuss that idea with Nina.

So after the doctor made sure that Johan wasn't listening to them, he told his plan to Nina, who started laughing histerically at that idea. 

"Omg we have to do this, i'm sure it'll work out and nothing bad will happen" 

"yeye dont worry " 

Now, after they set everything up, johan finally came back from the bathroom combing his hair. Apparently he actually was lying before, and just needed to fix his hair a bit.

"Well since we can't go out what are we gonna do?" the young man said

But to his surprise, Nina had another chocolate cake which said 'happy birthday' and handed it to him. His eyes widened slightly but you could have read amazement over his other facial features too, such as his mouth faintly agape and his raised eyebrows: 
"Is this for me?" He questioned under his breath, dragging his  gaze from the present he had in his hands to the visage of his sister, harly mantaining eye contact.

"No, silly, it's actually our cake" His sister replied with a warm smile, for his reaction that seemed way too humane for him reminded her that's he was a human too after all, even after all the atrocities he committed. Nonetheless she was still gonna prank that heartless mf

Johan was so confused.. he couldn't fathom the change of  Nina's behaviour, it was just weird, that's all, she had infinite reasons to insult or ignore him, but she chose to show him kindness, a critical hit to the monster within him. Tenma in the other hand, was nowhere to be seen so juan asked his whereabouts and his sister told him that Tenma had gone out to buy something, unlocking the door  with his spare keys. In that moment Johan released an almost silent giggle looking at the pavement: 

"I guess i didn't think of this outcome huh?" 

At that point Nina walked by Juan ruflling the hair which he was so carefully combing previously: 

"Imma take a nap rn i'm really tired, do whatever you want just dont wake me, if you dont want that plastic surgery with a punch , that is" she said heading to the couch in the living room 

"Can i at least play the piano?" 

"I didn't know you knew how to. Maybe i'll listen to you for a while before my nap then"

Now that Nina was sitting on the couch, Johan had his back turned to her and started playing

The piece started off like a mess: dissonant notes were almost randomly put together, leaving behind an erratic melody. But as it progressed, those same notes began to make sense and form a beautiful, although discordant harmony: the way his fingers and hands travelled the keyboard with the same manner of the notes he played was mesmerizing. Oftentimes he hit the those notes switching from and agressive manner, to a more calm and collected one, it was truly a beautiful sight. That piece felt like life, and all the unfathomable emotions that we feel in it. The fact that Johan was able to perform it with body and soul was somewhat surprising but at the same time tragic in a way. 

When he finished, he turned around to see a sleeping Nina on the couch. Then he grabbed a blanket and covered her frame. After that he sat on the other end of the sofa and dozed off too, still waiting for Tenma to come back, with whatevere it was that he needed to buy.
