When I ask you to listen to a song, it's because the lyrics mean everything I'm trying to say to you.
Yet again, Dean found an origami butterfly in his locker. He knew not who they were from, nor why they were sending him these notes, but he was determined to find out. The butterflies always puzzled him, and he just had to know who they were from.
He put the butterfly back in his locker and got his stuff for chemistry class. He got to class just before the bell rang, and he sat in his seat next to Castiel, who he'd been best friends with since middle school.
"Hey, Cas." He greeted with a smile.
Cas returned the smile. "Hello, Dean."
"I got another butterfly."
Cas knew what he was talking about. Dean told him about the origami butterflies ever since he got the first one.
"Really? What did it say this time?"
"Uh, something like 'When I ask you to listen to a song, it's because the lyrics mean everything I'm trying to say to you'."
"Huh. Are you any closer to figuring out who this secret admirer is?" He asked.
"No idea. But I'll figure it out eventually." He noticed Cas's light blue sweater vest. "Is that a new sweater vest?"
Cas blushed slightly. "Y-you noticed?" He chuckled weakly.
"Yeah. I like it."
Cas smiled like an idiot. "Thanks. I - I like your shirt, too. It looks... nice on you."
Dean couldn't help but grin. "Cas, you're acting like a girl again."
Cas cleared his throat. "Uh, sorry. Had a weird morning."
"Lemme guess; Gabriel?"
"How'd you know?" Cas grinned.
"Because he's a weird friggin kid."
Cas chuckled. "True that."
"Cas, I told you, you're not allowed to say 'true that'."
"But I like saying 'true that'." Cas whined teasingly.
Dean laughed. "Well get over it."
"Okay, okay. So, this secret admirer. Do you have any methods as to figuring out who it is?"
"No idea, I'm completely in the dark here. Why are you so eager to find out? This is my secret admirer."
"Well excuse me for being curious. I wanna find out who this guy- girl-" He quickly corrected himself. "This girl is just as much as you do."
"Trust me, no one's more curious than I am."
"Well, whoever it turns out to be, you two must have... chemistry."
"I guess we do, yeah," Dean didn't take the subtle hint. Then he thought of something. "You don't think Lisa's trying to win me back, do you?"
"No!" He answered quickly. "No, you shouldn't think about her so much, she's not the one for you."
"You think so?"
"Absolutely. I mean, c'mon, that bitch is crazy." He murmured.
"Yeah, she did get a bit overly attached."
"Only a bit? Understatement. She was ready to use your DNA to make a Dean clone."
Dean chuckled softly. "I don't think it was quite that intense."
