One day there was this 12 year old girl named Chelsea and her parents worked all day and her mean sister had to watch her.
It was late and Chelsea hadn't eaten dinner so she said to her older sister Becky,
"Can you cook me some food".
But like usual Becky was on her phone. So she said
'No,leave me alone go get some cereal."
So Chelsea went to go look for cereal but they were all stale. So she said to her self
"Should I make a chicken pattie on the stove,because I'm starving."
So she ran to the stove cut it on and put her a chicken pattie on the stove. As usual Becky didn't know what she was doing so she went up stairs blabbing her mouth. Chelsea started to notice it was getting brown so she took it out. She sat down and took a bite. She said,
"This is delicious."
So she finished her food an ran upstairs. She decided to doze off and Becky did a couple mins later.
5 mins later they were woken up by a loud alarm sound. They started to smell smoke. They ran downstairs and notice that the kitchen was on fire,they ran outside and to the neighbors to call the fire department. Chelsea was thinking to her self,
"How did this happen?"
"Then she remembered that she forgot to turn the stove off."
She kept quiet and didn't tell anyone. Her parents left work and came home. After they put the fire out,they asked the people how the fire started. And they said,
"Someone left the stove on."
Everyone looked at Becky.
"How did you forget to turn the stove off Becky you should have checked",dad said
"I didn't cook anything Chelsea was the only one in the kitchen."
Mom and dad said to Chelsea ,"did you cook on the stove."
She said,"yes because Becky told me to eat cereal but they all were old and I was very hungry."
They lectured Becky about not takin care of here sister and that she has to work to pay them back money.
Becky got mad and yelled out and said,"I'm not working off nothing because maybe if y'all stayed home and took care of us everything would be fine."
Mom said , "we'll you should be responsible and we have to work to make a living so either pay us the money back or move out."
Becky yelled back, "fine ill move out right now do bother calling."
