Ram, Priya and Baarish...❤️
Celebrating balh3 (cause now I'm missing my cool industrialist from Bandra and his khadoos masterni from Goregaon even more)
A peek into future (Sharing Life). I had drafted this when it was pehli baarish in my hometown last year. This is inspired by one of my favourite scenes from the show.
(Some part might not make sense as its a chapter in between, but shouldn't be much of an issue)

Pawan marched to Ram on seeing him back from office.
Ram walked around the room searching Priya but couldn't find her.
"Sir, should I get you anything?" Pawan asked.
"Where's Priya?"
"Priya Bhabhi? She is in the backyard. Should I call her?"
He declined and flung his blazer on the bed, then rolling up his sleeves he rushed out of the room. He went through the garden towards the backyard and saw her was on the other side, near the fence.
He arrived at her. "Tum aaj jaldi aa gai?"
She stopped digging into the soil and glanced up at him. "Yes. The last lecture got canceled."
"Mujhe batati toh saath mein ghar aate." He crouch down on the lawn nearby.
"Mera kaam jaldi ho gaya tha, aapka nahi. Khamakha aapko takleef kyun?"
Ab bhi apna transport. Ram frowned. "Apni wife ke saath ghar aane mein kaisi takleef," he murmured, ensuring he is inaudible.
Like many other things, the thing didn't was Priya's insistence to do everything by herself. She would talk about saving the fuel but will never ask for a ride, thinking it will make her less independent.
He sighed, plucking out the grass strands.
His gaze fell on the bench bringing back the memories of new year. Who would have thought they will be here, gardening, as Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor some day.
He chuckled and turned to his wife.
She worked undisturbed, like nothing existed in the world. It didn't matter if she was talking or doing something else, the moment her eyes shifts back to the task she is totally engrossed into it, giving her everything to it.
He loved to watch her work. Be it at the bakery, or now in garden.
It was mostly cloudy but few streaks of sunlight seeped out of the clouds, and she, his newly married wife, looked ethereal under it. The diamond in her nuptial chain glistened due to the light. Her bangles jingled as she digged soil out. And like always, few tresses of hair managed to escape the clutch of her ponytail, entangling him in her.
She attempted to pushed them back but her hands were full of dirt, and it returned to her face, like always. He had a sudden urge to touch her hair.
Damn, her hair will make him go crazy some day.
But he suppressed his desire.
It was only two days they have been married. He didn't wish to rush things between them, since their marriage wasn't exactly a love marriage, and the awkwardness still exists. To add to this, their fight hardly gave them any time to ease with each other.
At moment, slowing down was the right thing to do.
So he shook himself mentally and shifted his focus on other things. He spotted a sapling beside her. The one he had gifted along with the earrings she was wearing right now - a gift she'd like with a gift he wished to give.
