Graduation was 24 hours ago, now I'm lying on the beach with my best friend. In a few hours I, the once shy wallflower Ivy, will be attending the hottest party of the summer. The one my lacrosse playing boyfriend is throwing. And in one weeks time I'll be leaving this place in the dust.
"Eloise, we made it. We finished 4 years of the twisted hell that is high school and in one week we leave for London." I called out to my best friend. I looked over and she was sprawled out on her towel, her carmely highlights glowed against her deep red hair. She took off her ray bans and looked at me. Her pale blue eyes matched the cool salty ocean.
"I can't believe we're alive too. I'm almost positive Scarlet and her evil minions had a plan to bring me back to their mother planet and conduct tortuous experiments on me."
"You're absolutely mad Eloise. Have I ever told you that?" I said in my best British accent.
"My day isn't made until you tell me that. But leave the accent up to all the British boys we will be drinking tea with." She shot back.
"I am so ready for this you have no idea."
"Yeah, but how does your boyfriend feel about you hanging around some proper Brits."
"Whatever happens in London, stays in London for now, we'll see how things go. Drew seems alright with it, when I brought it up before. I mean he was too busy packing for his summer lacrosse camp. "
"That's a bit sketchy Ivs, don't you think. I mean you've been dating for months now.. not to mention that whole little photo shoot thing you did... "
"Eh, it's whatever. And that photo shoot was not even close to a big deal. It's not like I did something stupid it irresponsible.. It was creative. But that's not he point. We'll Drew is cute and all, especially considering the fact that hes from here, but he's not the Prince with the cute accent I pictured myself being with. I'll give it the summer, I want to end things before I go to NYU.. "
"Not a big deal? Do your parents know about said photo shoot Miss Ivy Rose Moore?"
"No they don't... Do your parents know about your star tattoo on your hip Miss Eloise Starr Green?"
"No, but I'm 18, and its not like they would care.. ." Eloise's parents we a bit.. hippieish.. They were very much open to creative expression.
"Well you were only 17 when you got it." I retorted back.
"Well I'm 18 now- Hey check out those waves." Wow those waves were beautiful. I grabbed my camera and took as many shots as I before the wave went back down. There was something underratedly beautiful about photography. It can be easily overlooked as just snapping pictures of anything and slapping a filter on it. Some people were just lucky that they got to see the beauty of a moment and be able to capture it for all of infinity.
"Hey Ivs, it's already 5, we should get going so we can get to Drew''s party on time"

Well that a cute and fun first chapter, And why yes, I'm back from the dead. Fanfic isnt my thing, This will be a lot better for me to write and you to enjoy.
