Bullied by Hayes Grier?

Chapter 4

{lunch}
Haley's POV:
Ok I'm nervous because now we have lunch. But I shouldn't be that worried because I have lunch with my brother and his friend Nash(who's like a brother to me).
Then I remembered that I had to show Matthew around so I had to take him to the lunch room.
"Hey wanna come sit with my brother and his friend Nash and make some friends?"
"That would be amazing" Matthew said in relief.
We walked over to the table where Cameron was at and sat down. But just with my luck Hayes had to be there too.
Turns out that Matthew did make friends cause when I looked he was talking to Cameron, Nash and Jack😔.(not Jack gilinsky and he helps Hayes bully me.)
I hope Matthew and I stay friends... I really hope he doesn't turn on me like Hayes did.
I asked Cameron and Nash to walk Matthew around and that did. They told me they showed him the gym, bathrooms, library, basketball court(outside), offices etc.
I looked at Matthews schedule and it turns out that we had the same class next period.
{end of school}
Matt and I decided that we should hang out after school. So after last period I went to my locker and waited for Matt.
While I was waiting Jack and Hayes came up to me. Jack came up to me and pushed me into the lockers hard. "STAY AWAY FROM MATT YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!" "YEAH YOU WOULDN'T WANT HIM TO BE GETTING BEAT UP WITH YOU!" Hayes yelled. Then Hayes punched me in the stomach and slapped me in the face.
"HEY STOP THAT" I heard. Matthew came running over and punches Hayes and Jack out of the way. "I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS DUDE!" Matthew yelled at Jack. Then Jack and Hayes ran away.
"Matt please don't tell anyone about this"I begged
"WHY NOT THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE HURTING YOU!" Matthew yelled back.
"I know but not know ple-" then the nurse came over.
~5 minutes later~
The nurse came back telling me I was ok. I walked home cause I missed the bus but I'm glad Matthew didn't say anything about before.
~10 minutes later~
"Bye Matt! See you tomorrow!" I yelled as I walked up to my door step.
"Bye Hal" he said walking away. I went inside and prayed that Cameron didn't hear me. I went to my room, got comfortable and went to bed cause I was tired af!

~3 hours later~
I got a text from an unknown number it read...
"Hey it's Matt, don't ask how I got ur number lol I just did... I hope your feeling better"
Aww how sweet I texted back saying
"Hey Matt and thanks"
I went downstairs for food when I found a note, it said...
"Went to Nash's place you can stop by if you want to

The only thing I knew was that I wasn't going because I knew Hayes would be there.
