'Why are you so fat Sophie?'

'Why couldn't you be pretty like Ann Marie?'

'Eww step away, bitch.'

'Ann Marie could be a model one day.'

'Sophie's such a whore.'

'She's just so perfect, I wonder what happened with you..'

'You're such a loser Sophie!'

'Look at Ann Marie! At least she's got talent..'

She set her book down, the thoughts becoming too much for her to bear.

"Why do they compare me so much?" She questions out loud, "Do they even realise how much it hurts me?"

She was slowly coming to her breaking point. Between her parents and school, her life was everything you wouldn't want.

Ann Marie is Sophie's perfect older sister. Perfect grades, perfect figure, facial structure to die for, perfectly manicured nails, perfect talent in everything. She was the definition of perfection, and her parents wouldn't let her go one day without hearing it.

Since Sophie had left to live with her best friends, she hadn't heard from the devils as much, not that she wanted to. But that didn't mean she didn't still hear their voices in her head, telling her that she wouldn't amount to anything. She didn't believe it much at first, but after hearing things almost every day, you start to feel that way yourself.

And that's how she became depressed and anorexic. As time went on, she began bulimic, also.

With a little help from her classmates, pushing her and calling her names, she started to cut as a form of relief. She didn't know what else to do.

Sophie was a mess.

Harry was supposed to come home the next week, and she couldn't be more excited. But there was one thing holding her back.

Harry didn't know. He didn't know anything. About her weight loss, puking after meals, cutting. Nothing. And Sophie wanted it to stay that way.

It would be hard to hide, since Sophie originally started right before he left for the tour. Her body wasn't the only thing that had changed either. Her personality had became more shy and reserved. She'd never been a great actress either, so she'd have to work extra hard to pretend everything was alright. Thing is, Harry was great at reading her. He always knew if something was wrong with her.

'How am I going to do this?' She thought to herself, sighing.

But then a dark thought came to her head.

'Well maybe I don't have to..' She smiled.

Standing up off of the red sofa, she doggy-eared her book and set it down. A nice, big window showed the gorgeous sight of the city below; the lights, cars, small shops. How she had gotten such great friends, and had the best boyfriend she could ever have made no sense to her.

Shannon was her best friend, well her only friend, from secondary school. Shannon had moved out of her house because her parents were choking her. She could never have fun or be social. So once she moved out, Sophie ran away and moved in with her. They moved a few cities away, away from Manchester, into London. Now as how she met Harry, it was something you wouldn't expect.

*flashback*

We walked down the crowded street, and into a seemingly deserted coffee shop. Shannon went to sit down, while I ordered for us. She had wanted hot chocolate while I got coffee, and the cashier took my order. As I turned around, me being my clumsy self, tripped and fell into a tall boy. My eyes widened, and as I backed up, I noticed a brown stain on his shirt. 'Come on Sophie! Talk to him, say your sorry!' but my tongue was tied. I lifted my head and noticed the guy's emerald green eyes.

"I am SO sorry! I didn't mean to, I'm just so clumsy!" My mouth suddenly opened and words came flying out at lightning speeds. I ran over to get napkins and started dabbing his shirt. Obviously, I wasn't thinking at all. Then, another boy, who I assumed to be his mate, rushed over and shouted at me.

"HARRY. WHY IS THIS GIRL RUBBING UP ON MY BOYFRIEND?!" and so it began..

*flashback over*

By now, Sophie had already ripped her eyes away from the view and into her personal bathroom. She opened the cabinet above the mirror, where her anxiety pills were kept. She grabbed the bottles, and scrawled a quick note on the mirror with a marker. She didn't have enough time to waste. She wanted to leave and she wanted to leave now.

Harry had made her a CD of him singing all of her favorite songs, to listen to when she missed him. She kept it in a box under her bed, with all of the other important things she needed. Getting on her knees, she crawled underneath it and grabbed the box, setting it atop of the bed. She opened it up and took the CD out, putting it into the player. Soon, Harry's melodic angel voice was sounded, making a smile come upon her face.

Laying on the bed, she unscrewed the top of her pill bottle off and dumped them into her hand. She took three at a time, gulping it down with water beside her bed.

"Bye. I love you all." She whispered her last words, before closing her eyes.

7 minutes later, Harry stepped out of the taxi he took, instead of riding with the other boys. He walked up the stairs and into the elevator of the flat. He could hardly contain his excitment, his grin covering most of his face. The elevator opened at the 4th floor, and he skipped right to her room. Harry knocked on her door 3 times, with no answer. Confused, he knocked again and waited.

'Well maybe she's just showering. I didn't tell her that I'd be here so early.' He thought.

Remembering the key he had, he dug in his bag until he felt the cold metal touch his skin. Sliding the key into the lock, he walked in to hear his voice playing quietly. He smiled, knowing that she missed him. Thing is, he didn't hear the shower.

'Well maybe she's reading in her room.' He assured himself, walking into the room. But what he saw didn't appeal to his eye.

There was his girlfriend, laying on the bed, with an open pill bottle in her hand.
