The thought of being lost, unseen,
Of fading away, disturbs me deeply.
I long to be acknowledged, but why?
I can't explain, yet still, I try.One day, when I vanish into thin air,
Will my name dissolve with the breeze?
Will I be remembered for the things I've said,
Or will people forget me entirely? Will I live on in forgotten whispers,
A trace of me that no one cares about?
People will forget me soon,
Am I the long-lost melody no one hums?
The forgotten eraser tucked away?
The instructions no one bothered to read?I don't want to lose myself to fate,
To be unseen, overlooked, erased.
Yet,
My name may fade from stone,
And the world will keep moving,
As I quietly disappear.But still,
In the hearts I've touched,
And the places I've been,
Though they may forget me,
My soul will endure.
