𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 || 𝐀 𝐉𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜

𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 1

I wake up by the bright morning sun hitting my eyes and as soon as I wake up I look at my wall clock and It's 9 o'clock. I rush to get ready for work, and knowing my boss, Mrs. Kim, this might probably be the last day I'll work there.

"Here goes nothing.." I enter the cafe and I see my boss signaling me to go to her office. I go inside and close the door behind me. "take a seat, Y/N" Mrs. Kim points at the chair in front of her. "How many times have you been late this month, Y/N?" Mrs.Kim asks, "3 times ma'am-" I said before I got cut off by her. "You're fired," Mrs. Kim says as she gets up from her seat. 

"But-" "Y/N you know the rules, 3 lates in a month is equivalent to you getting fired, now get out" She removes my nameplate from my uniform and she pushes me out of the cafe. I sigh in defeat and go back home. 

I enter my apartment and tears just fell from my eyes, but then my phone starts ringing. "Hello, eomma!" You wipe your tears and fix your tone before you say anything to her. 

"How's my Y/N?" 

"I'm doing great! just been busy for the past few days"

"Hmm good to hear. Your father and I are going to visit you at the cafe later by the way"

"Uhmm... About that-- I got fired today"

"Oh, well---... It's okay Y/N-ah you can find other jobs that are better"

My mom comforted me over the phone, I pick myself up and start looking for jobs online. Later that day, I stumbled upon a company looking for a secretary, Of course, I immediately signed up for it. I set a date for the job interview and I was so relieved to find a job that quickly.

Next Monday morning, I got up 2 hours before my job interview. I took a bath, put on my makeup, and ate my breakfast. I neatly placed all my required papers and documents in my bag.

"Where would you like to go Ma'am?" The Taxi driver asks me as I enter the car. I told him my destination and he quickly got there. I exit the car and a tall building towered over me. People walking in and out of the entrance, the glass reflected the bright sun and luxurious cars drove by the driveway. I entered the building and it was busy as hell, with people rushing and running around, and the clicking of the keyboards from people's laptops was clearly heard.

I went to the reception desk and asked about the job interview. The lady led me to the elevator to go to the CEO's office... The silence was soo loud, I was quite shocked by the difference between the main floor and the highest floor of this building. The employees sat at their desks and worked, they whispered to each other and flipped their papers silently. I asked somebody where the CEO is and they led me to a hallway with a tall black door at the end of it. I thanked the kind employee and I walked towards it.

I got more and more nervous walking towards the door. What if I get rejected? What If I seem rude? What If I mess up? What if I accidentally rip the paper? I started overthinking and my hands started shaking with anxiousness. I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

"Come in!" The CEO shouts out giving me a queue to enter. "Good Mor- Afternoon sir.." I said while slightly bowing towards him, I silently cuss myself out. He pointed at the seat across from him and the interview started. I handed him my resume, but my goddamn hands keep shaking, I held my arm with my other hand to stabilize it.

He scanned my resume with a cold expression. Gosh, I knew it... It's fine, I didn't expect myself to land in this big company anyways. "You're hired," He says, My eyes unconsciously widen, and pinched myself to see If I was dreaming. "Really?" I asked him, "Yes. You can start working by tomorrow. I'll show you to your office" He stood up and walked towards the door, and I followed him. He opened the door and said "Ladies first", Hmm quite the gentleman... 

The moment he walked out of the door, people bowed at him the moment they saw him. "Good afternoon Mr.Yoon" Greetings echoed through the room and people stood up and stopped what they were doing to bow and greet him. "Ok ok, everyone get back to work" He silenced them and they immediately resumed their work. 

"here's your office" He opened the door to a private office next to his. The marble floors, gold accents on the decor, and the sleek office setup looked soo expensive. "I'll leave you alone now, feel free to ask me anything," He said and closed the door. I sat on the office chair and it was soo comfy. I opened the PC in front of me and my name was on it already I entered the password that was written on a notepad on the monitor and a bunch of timetables popped up. "Mr.Yoon's meeting schedules" "Office timings" and "Tasks" I read the timetables and turned off the computer. 

I sighed because of the number of things I had to do starting tomorrow. I guess I didn't think being a secretary was this complicated. I left my office and exited the building. I happily skipped out of the building and called my mom.

"EOMMA! I HAVE SUCH GOOD NEWS!"

"What is it?"

"I GOT A NEW JOB!!"

"OMG REALLY?! WHAT JOB?"

"I'M A SECRETARY FOR THE CEO OF YOON CORPORATIONS!!"

"OMG IM SOO PROUD OF YOU Y/N-AH!!"

I ended the call with my mom and I got a taxi to go home and made myself some lunch. As the day ended I packed all the stuff I needed for tomorrow. I don't wanna do badly on my first day. Let's hope it's not that complicated.
