Butters shook his head, saving his confused thoughts for later and jumped off the bench; sprinting after Bradley.
"BRADLEY WAIT"
Bradley just wanted to be alone. He made a sharp turn around into the alley of a building before tripping on a rock and face planting into the concrete.
"I JUST WA- Bradley!"
He quickly ran over and sat down, slightly lifting Bradley up onto his lap so he could see the damage of the fall.

Bradley was now silently crying, tears racing down his face.

There was a huge scrape at the top of his head, and a cut near his eye. Butters let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh, thank goodness. No blood."

He felt around the blonde boy's hair to make sure there was no further damage.
Bradley was clearly not in a position to communicate, he was having a panic attack.

Butters pulled him further into his lap and leaned against the brick wall, hugging Bradley while rubbing his back consolingly.

After a few minutes, Bradley sniffled and pulled away from the embrace, avoiding eye contact with Butters and instead staring at the floor.

"Are you okay?"

Bradley slightly nodded and looked off to the side, biting his nails.

Butters tried to read Bradley's expression, but was struggling. He looked possibly.. Ashamed?
He didn't want him to feel bad for the fall, it wasn't his fault.

"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize for falling, you didn't mea-"
"No."
A loud silence filled the air, Butters sat patiently waiting for Bradley to elaborate.

Until finally, Bradley's voice broke as it all spilled out, almost too fast to understand what he was saying.
"I'm sorry I kissed you and brought you into all this. You were never supposed to go to this camp or meet me. You're too innocent and sweet for this. I'm a monster.. I'm a freak. I don't deserve to be happy. I should have jumped."
...
"Bradley I don't understand-"

"I know."

Bradley stood up and turned away from Butters.

"Goodbye Butters."

"Bradley wait.."

"I'm sorry."
